Outgoing mail is working, so new user authentication is now up to the member to activate it themselves. However, our incoming mail is not at the moment. So, admins might not receive emails, if the emails were sent outside of the forum.

I rebooted the server and walked away for a hair cut, I made the assumption that the server would come back up automatically (which it did not). Sorry about that.

The most notable improvement related to speed is how when the page loads posts that have any animation in the signatures and avatars; the page loads with ease and there isn't the usual bogging down. This was something that always used to annoy me. I can't say thanks enough for the changes! And thanks for bringing back spell check for those of us who were C students in spelling, we are much obliged!  |

Do not use the "Refresh" button or shortcut (F5) so you will not need to log in repeatly.

I updated the cookie's name for the site to be unique, instead of the standard smf cookie name. Those issues should not exist anymore. Bloodbane and MCW, let me know if I'm correct once you log in today and exit or perform a refresh.

MCW you are correct. That is because I'm hidding the real location of the address. So it overwrites the url and hence screws things up a bit..... I will fix it now. So bear with me in the next few minutes.... with the site. I guess the solution is to not cloak the real address of the site. No big deal as anyone who types http://www.lavalit.com will be redirected here to http://lavalit.com:8080 automatically. |
