I tried the DC Build for my SGMB mod but it kept cutting off on me and goin back after the Beats of Rage logo, I'll have to try again with a older mod.

Night-Slashers-X works with the latest engine build but their seems to be an issue of color- no matter the settings in the video.txt, both the video aspect & color depth remain the same (I assume it's displaying in 8-bit).

Strange because everything is ok on my end.  Try deleting your settings.sav and see if that makes a difference.

I found a bug in the PSP version. If you view the logs of more than 3 paks, it reverses the text of the next log and then straight up freezes on you.

Also, can anything be done about the startup screen load time (PSP version)? I actually like the idea, but for someone like me who has 20+ paks (and 12+ are ones I made), it gets pretty annoying when starting up BOR takes almost a minute and a half (because I have so many paks, I assume). Is there a way to switch it back to the old style, where it loaded paks as you highlighted them? Or even a way to return to the pak screen after playign a mod, as opposed to exiting and restarting BOR?

Yeah, the logfile is not completed yet since the redesign.  As for Menu changes, I'm thinking of making significant changes.  Basically I'm thinking of disabling previews by default and having a button to enable them and as for the bmgplayer, I will only search for music tracks when a user selects that option.  This should significantly speed things up, though I'm not sure yet.... still have other ideas.

I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised with it. At first when I heard 480x240 wasn't supported anymore I got kinda mad, but I really like how it doesn't display low-res (video 0) mods in 480x240 and instead displays it in the correct resolution. Scaling it to fit the screen in addition to using bilinear whatever its called makes low-res mods look hi-res!

No one else has mentioned this either, so I'm assuming it's something unique to my setup. Perhaps it's my 64bit Vista? In any case the previous build worked Ok.

It's the video.txt- the new engine build runs ok without it for some odd reason but throws a minor fit when it's there.

Do me a favor and try to run both versions.  Windows_Dll and non DLL.  Let me know if there is a difference.

Well, I don't think it's an OpenBor emergency, but eventually it might become an issue for anyone with 64bit Vista.

Just to reiterate (but hopefully not flog a dead horse), the previous build when running Night-Slashers-X in 8bit didn't display the strange characters in the OpenBorLog. Also, the new build won't allow me to change any aspect in the Video.txt for whatever reason.
