This is a request that comes from the fact that if we want animated walking planes (for example a plane with short grass, moved by the wind... how poetic  Grin) we need to place an entity at (at least) a min  position equal to minz-1 (or lower). The problem is that the shadow of chars walking on this soft grass is no more visible in this situation (eccept for alpha transparent entities).

I do think that no options are there to face this problem, actually, but i will be happy if someone will contradict me  Smiley

- chars shadows over entities other than level "panel"

just to load a player in the middle of the game... actually the entity loaded is not selectable even if type player is set

You can do this easily by using type none/panel entity's with setlayer command set to minus values . Just use empty (transparent) panel for this part (you can also mix them with normal panel with order in level.txt)
