First, I just want to say that this is an awesome site and I am happy I joined! You guys are fantastic at making these mods and I am really lucky at getting to play them!! I am still very new to burning BoR discs for my Dreamcast but I have come a long way in a short time(just a few days since I started) I have finally learned some things with Bootdreams and still determined to learn how to burn pak files as bootable DC games before I consult help... When I get more cdr's that is lol.

My problem is rather strange. I have burned cdi discs with no hitches except with Double Dragon Extreme. No matter what way I burn it I have an odd sound problem. It is more of a sad annoyance than anything. The enemies don't make their cool grunt sounds when u kill them. The only time they make these noises is when you throw them in a pit or get knocked off in a pit or die from spikes. On my burned copies you can kill them with your attacks until the cows come home and they never make a death sound. It is an annoyance because I miss those sounds! Everything else is in place with the sound effects and music and the graphics!! A really superb game!! I am wondering do I have an outdated version or maybe technical problems? When I get some more cdr's in a few days I will be testing some more theories I have to see if I can't solve this problem and any input you guys have would be great!!! Thank you!   Smiley

oldschoolgamer1975,

I don't know what caused the problem for sounds. I think it's supposed to have sounds but I don't know why it doesn't have that. I'm not experienced in ripping to CDs but I can understand where it's coming from. I'm not so sure. You're saying it doesn't have sounds when you play on CD?

Did you try playing the mod with the pc? It could be just a mistake made with sounds at the source, so you just can't hear that sound in that particular moment...
