Uhm, perhaps you might elaborate? I can be pretty harsh, but at least I give reasons why. I haven't played this yet, and assume you're probably right, but "this game sucks" really doesn't fall under the constructive criticism category.

Hm, I think this is a pretty straight rip off of another DBZ Beats of Rage mod.... I will keep my eyes open...

How to mod:
1 Pick an interesting game: There are plenty of 8-bit/16-bit classics waiting for a remake
2 Rip your own sprites & stages
3 Use a custom palette: http://borrevolution.vg-network.com/tutorial.htm
4 Check your offsets: http://www.lavalit.com/index.php?topic=1099.0

Did you know?
Using void main()
{
playgif("data/my.gif", 0, -4, 1);
}

as spawnscript streams a GIF anim instead of loading it

It definitely is, though at the time I was blissfully unaware. We've had at least three unfinished Dragonball mods since Bor first came out- I saw pictures of another one in development on another site (different language too). Maybe when OpenBor finally breaks out the way MUGEN has someone will finish one.

So was this abandoned or something?  I haven't tried out the demo yet, but I'll try to download this later.

It's exactly like a demo called "Dragonball", which btw is missing from our downloads section.

The one and only difference seems to be the main character.

EDIT: Same for "Monkey Rage" which I deleted from our downloads section not too long ago. The only difference between the missing "Dragonball" demo and "Monkey Rage" was the title screen and intro.

Lol I guess they didn't want to change much and hurry and get a mod with their name on it, for the clones. All different modders?  You know I think I'd like to give a mod of DBZ a try I have some sprite sheets from each GBA advance game of the characters.  Maybe when I'm finished with LOR I'll think about giving it a try.

I would assume so since it's been awhile.

I never had the original DBZ demo myself, otherwise I would have posted it. Maybe you could upload it?
