After load the sounds (some of them are not loaded):

Loading Sprites................................
Shutting down.

Then it shows the cache cleaning list.

Maybe some gif files can't be loaded?

In windows version they are OK, but I usually get some gif files that can't be loaded by openbor until I re-save them by ACDsee or mspaint. But panels and background as well as animated gif files don't have this problem.

Maybe other platforms use different gif logic?

Oh...
Thanks, man.
I'll try to re-save all sprites when I have a free time, maybe next weekend.

No, you don't need to do that because it is not confirmed yet.

GP2X doesn't support widescreen mods.

What.....  Thats impossible as in the code its commented out not to handle video modes in gp2x....   so either the widescreen mod is displayed incorrect or you modified the mod.

I need a pick.  Please take a screenshot for confirmation.

yes but....  since the mod was only created for widescreen and not 4x3 screen it will never be compatible with GP2X as its only a 4x3 screen unless we implement some type of scaling, but then the picture will be very tiny on your gp2x screen.

There is nothing wrong on the PSP side....  As for dreamcast I plan on implementing widescreen support which would make this mod compatible.

Just so you guys know: there's an update to this mod released not too long ago with optional 320x240 support for GP2X, and based on that there's also a Dreamcast version available:

How to mod:
1 Pick an interesting game: There are plenty of 8-bit/16-bit classics waiting for a remake
2 Rip your own sprites & stages
3 Use a custom palette: http://borrevolution.vg-network.com/tutorial.htm
4 Check your offsets: http://www.lavalit.com/index.php?topic=1099.0

Did you know?
Using void main()
{
playgif("data/my.gif", 0, -4, 1);
}

as spawnscript streams a GIF anim instead of loading it
