I'm having a bit of a problem with one of my characters. The game loads and then the stage loads without problems but when the character get's generated in the stage I can see it for a second or two then the game crashes.

The character's name is "casndra"

pls use the newest openbor build, the bug may have been already fixed.

if not, post the log from that version.

When I removed jumpforward and jumpattack then it works.

So now put one frame in jumpattack just with offset and delay without any commands/attacks and start to add commands from the one you deleted ,this way you can see what exactly caused this bug,or just revert your attacks but in a different way.

the crash has been fixed just now in the SVN. however it's unclear why the sprite is black.

It appears to be only in the test factory (the full game that I uploaded on this thread) but using the latest build 3310 on my mix masters mod and others, then all the colors are fine.

It seems that when you use remap on a entity when using 8 bit gfx then it works fine but when you use remap when using 16bit and over then the characters turn black.

I guess for the most part it isn't a bug as you say but I do believe that it used to work before a somewhat recent version was released but still I am using alternatepal now as opposed to remap these days so its a really, really tiny problem as I only have one character in my game that's having this problem (the way i eventually figured it out) but its easy enough to fix.

I think there's a hack in the engine designed to make 8-bit remaps keep working in16-bit mode.  It might have broken recently.
