Thanks a lo guys! Now that  have approval, I'll start animating him, as soon as I have a chance. I'm moving this weekend, so I'm not gonna be able to work on him for a couple of days.

Very cool shredder Gabotico!
But imo it would be even better if you added two white eyes (like in comics)

I think that's because of high res. Default speed of game is based on low res, that's why in higher res, it feels slower.
You might need to double every speed settings (walk speed, gravity, dropv dan jumpframe) to solve this.

Finally got some free time and completed the whole demo, and here's some feedback (I may repeat myself, but anyway all emotions in one post :dunce:)
I'll share some ideas about the game, that in my humble opinion would add some more awesomness into your project :)

First of all as I told - the visual style is amazing, I just love this dark comic style. As a TMNT fan, I was always dreaming of tmnt game like this. You are doing some amazing job here dude. I also liked the intro in comix style and outtro of the demo (like "How comes Leo's the only playable character?? - It's the demo Mikey") - just awesome, a bit of humour in TMNT even it's in dark comic style is right thing anyway ;)
About sound and music - well we already talked about those NES tracks. Yeah they don't go well with the game, but as I know you already decided to replace them right? Also about sounds - I personally didn't like the dying foot soldier sound (that scream from Streets of Rage) - it doesn't fit here imho. Also it would be cool if the turtles used some more voice acting during the battles (something like "Take this!" or some battle shout during combo finisher or some "Ouch!" when being hit by enemy). Also would be cool if this applied to bosses too, for example when Rocksteady appears he says something like "Say your prayers toilets!" like in Arcade game.

Now about gameplay - as the guys told - it should be really more fast paced. And less repetitive. Frankly speaking, while playing demo I found gameplay a bit repetitive. Making it more fast-paced, and if possible, adding some things like ability to smash some objects that will then hurt the enemies or something will do the thing.
Only today I accidently found that there are actually grab in the game, that's cool, but the bad thing is - after grabbing the enemy and punching him 2 times you lose the grab and enemy is free, so maybe some finishing move should be added, like in SOR.
Also it would be great if you added some special moves, like in Manhattan Project. Some powerful moves that require some special bar, or that waste health bar when used too often.

So, something like that, lots of ideas out there, anyway good luck with the game again, I am really looking forward to it, it's one of my most-wished projects :cheers!:
Can't wait to see the final product, cheers :)

I just got Internet!! That's really good news. About the game speed, you're right Bloodbane, it's because of the resolution, but I did increase the speed, running animations is a "MUST" now. About the NES music, I have already started replacing it, there should be a new demo link as part of my signature, and also a video link with some of this new music, which adds a different atmosphere to the game. I believe in the new demo there are no grab attacks (I gotta figure a better way to do it, which Bloodbane already provided some information for), I also gotta add some spawn animation to the Foot Soldiers, which is kind of my priority right now, an their die sound I don't like either, I just haven't found anything I like to replace it. Everything you mentioned I agree with, and I will do something to change it, I had already thought about it before I read your comment, but I really appreciate the feedback, I just set up my computer, I don't know when I'm gonna be able to work on this mod, but I will do it for sure.

Yeah, keep it going dude. Can't wait to try the new demo :)

P.S. Just noticed you actually uploaded new demo already, with new music and some other things. I gotta say - new music is perfect and fits the stages and overall atmosphere very well. Only boss theme has some problem - some noise can be heard while the track is playing - mybe the bitrate is low or something?
The next thing - I liked that you added special attacks - they will add variety to gameplay. About Leo's special move (when he spins with swords) I thought maybe it would be better if he was spinning a bit longer, delivering multiple hits (like in NES Manhattan Project).
And the slide move is cool but cheap. If one will mash jump button very fast - the character can slide without returning to idle stance for long, and it's almost impossible for enemies to land a hit.
Well anyway I liked all new things you implemented in your mod, so good luck with further working on it ;)

Thanks a lot man!! You're definitely right about the slide kick, I noticed that a while ago, but there's so much I wanna do, I don't know where to start. But I will definitely work on it!

SORRY! I know it's been a while, but I recently was playing TMNT 4, and I soooo want to add that move  the turtles do when they throw the Foot Soldiers against each other from left to right, and I have no idea how to do it. I also wanna add that move when they throw the enemies against the screen. I also wanna add a running move, but I wonder if it's possible to do it without tabbing left or right twice, say in the TMNT Genesis game there was a specific run button, can this be done with OpenBOR (most likely yes), or can I set the running to automatic like on TMNT 4 for the SNES? The truth is I haven't really looked into it, any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is this where turtle slam foot soldier left and right?

Quote
I also wanna add that move when they throw the enemies against the screen.

This move is related to above. When grabbed foot soldier is on last HP, turtle will do this instead of above.

Either way, this require script especially the 2nd one.

Yes, though you need script to control the running. Add cancel for running attack.

I'd say yes although I forgot how it works.
