Serious issue (can't load paks from USB)

Even though I have the latest build of OpenBOR for the wii, and the application can be booted from the USB.  THe issue is that no matter where it loads from SD or USB, it will only search for the paks in the SD apps/openbor/paks folder, when it needs to search in the same folder but on the USB drive.  There is no option to load from somewhere else once you're in OpenBOR either.  So I can't just correct the problem by loading elsewhere.  Can someone please edit it so that this program can load Paks from the USB location as well?  I would greatly appreciate it as my SD card has no room for any paks.

I got all my games on a 1tb usb drive and it works fine.

I guess it would be nice to have a browse option but in all honesty, why? The openbor app files are tiny.

I haven't tried it in a while, but OpenBOR used to be able to load mods from USB if it is booted from the USB.  I haven't changed the relevant code since then, so either libogc has changed or the run path somehow doesn't start with "usb:/" even when you run it from a USB drive.

sorry for bumping old threads but im trying to run paks from my usb hdd on wii and cant figure out how to run openbor from usb could you explain to me how.

Maybe code openbor to just read packs from usbhdd but be run from sd.
