i think 320 x 240 for  cps2 sprites they become to big on the screen

           480x272  (like rocket viper2, and mix masters) the characters got a little more space to walk on the screen and improves much the gameplay in my opinion
       
          and  640x480 the sprites maybe become too small in the screen but i think i will do some game using cps2 srpites in this resolution.

384x224 is the resolution for SFA, 480x272 seems reasonable considering that

Indeed, I wholeheartedly agree. Just keep in mind things like this often take a lot of work and time, there's bound to be long pauses especially on one's free time.

Thanks for the feedback, I do my best on the sprites and the animations won't disappoint. As for Carlos Maki and a couple others I got some thing in mind.

Nothing special to announce atm, I put together a simple testing stage and I'm currently working on Stage 1 scene 1, Billy and his headswap Ray, Guy and some of the smaller tedious things (lifebar placement, select screen etc). couple of stuff to show:

3 player is not a definite thing but I'll keep it in mind.

nah it's an old running gag that used to go over at bombergames. everytime someone asked about a release date they'd post the picture and poke fun at adding 2 weeks to the wait time.

I do however have some nice things in store, I'm in the middle a of a move right now so it's hard to get anything done atm.
