hi everybody,
working on my previous Final Fight mod, i feel addicted more and more to it, and since it's a really simple mod that doesn't need much work, i decided to update it a bit: So, here it is, Final Fight Gold: Champion Edition!
add:
- 4 new chars (fei long, guile, blanka and ken from street fighter)
- rise up attack
- added proper walls to some stages
- fixed little bugs here and there

thanks,it's a great update,the cast is very good.please,in the next release,can you add dee jay or the boxer balrog(it will be cool to play with a black boxer fighter).

I?m using the latest devbuild haggar79 and it runs perfect, you have to upgrade your openbor engine, I hope it helps you yo play this masterpiece

Check daily snapshots the latest devbuild is posted in the superior right side is OpenBOR v3.0 Build 3342, you are a lavalit member you can download it without problems

Im playing it right now and i like it very much , i dont know maybe im biased cause it has ken in it i hope others arent so biased like me :laughing:
I like delays and pause times , its about the feel ,it doesnt feel like a bunch of slapped anims into txt file but characters have their own dynamics and i like it :)

just completed this it was fun only thing i hated the D, F, D, F, A super is very hard to pull off with my pad and can cause frustration besides that great mod. :cheers!:

unfortunately yesterday I was playing and I was struck in the level with Edi.e , the boss didn't appear and the I had to shut down the game, because no more enemies come along and I couldn't complete the stage . someone else find this error? I am using last version of openbor.

I finished the game 2 times with Haggar and Maki and i never been stuck (i use the latest devbuild). As i already said, it's a great game, well balanced in difficulty and timers/damage etc... I agree with msmalik about DFDF super (with Maki). The only thing missing is an animated idle/faint.

Good to see one of the best FF mods back up again, and you put my man Guile in it! OH NOO YOU DIDN'T!!!!

Me to, I took the above route from the first level and got stuck on the next stage, so I quit and started over. I took the bottom route, beat Sodom, and then got stuck in a restaurant in stage 3. This really needs to be handled.

Hey man, would you please add Cammy or Chun-li for this game? as an expantion (you know, only the files / folder of them) 'cuz I got the first FFGold, I just copy Ken and Guile from your "Champion Edition" (memory issues on the PSP Phat), and because I'm not a huge fan of Blanka or Fei-Long.
So what do you say?

hi I solved this problem, just use golden axe myth openbor files and you won't be struck anymore.

I really liked this mod! I think you should reduce the time in some of the cast moves, but overall this is a wonderfull job! Congratulactions! It really makes me feel to try modding FFight again but just a few playables and adding it to your mod just for fun! XD Really polished overall!

I love this mod. Even though it features no weapons, the special & super moves, juggle system & tight gameplay that favors skill over simple button mashing add a whole new depth to the classic Final Fight formula. (For example, I do not like playing with Dean at all in the original FF3 yet I love his juggle geared style in this mod). Plus my main man Haggar has 3 different piledrivers to choose from! And that is simply awesome! ;D

I played it under the newest build, and it took me several credits to beat Rolento.

The best "Final Fight" I've played, counting the original. The third part of the Snes I liked it because you could make many moves, but this mod has been supreme, I've had almost all the characters and I'm still tired.
Pierwolf're a real master. I hope one day you do another mod "Final Fight" with more characters if it can be
