In case anyone is not aware:
Senile Team (http://senileteam.com/), the authors of the original Beats of Rage recently revamped their site and it looks pretty good. They're the ones who started it all, so stop by and give them some props!

lavalit is fine, revamping isnt always a good thing, look at new facebook... yikes

Maybe a your own Choice of BGs like on the MGComics forum. there's like 4 or 5 choices of Backrounds a user can choose to have.
Although this is not Needed though, just a nice feature

Yeah, Lavalit was upgraded not to long ago. Senile hadn't changed in several years and it was pretty bare bones to begin with. I'm not sure what the point of messing with Lavalit would be seeing as it is full featured to begin with.
News, forum, downloads sector, conference room, static portal to the main goodies on the front page, what more do you want?
*Edit:* Double ninja'd!!! Self themes I believe are already available, though backgrounds are not. I'm not even sure if the Simple machines forum software Lavalit runs on supports that.

Well like I said before, this stuff is not needed, it would only be a nice feature and nothin' more.

If it is pointless..then yes, it is, if nothing else by being a waste of time. Upgrading a forum carries with it the risk of a full on crash, lost posts, database headaches, general bug fixes, blah, blah, blah. And for what? To say we upgraded? There are better things to do with life.
Also, this is not a discussion thread, it is a news post. I should have known better not to lock it, and now it is. If you want an "upgrade" that bad, take it up with SX in another thread.
