(http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb176/Razor_gore/Jump.gif?t=1249969286)Okay. This is based off of a messed up fan fiction me and my friends wrote a while back. This is only one of the mods I was working on. I was considering not submitting it, but what the hell.
I started this before joining this site. This is basically just me goofing around with the program making something foolish for my friends. This is the result.
Anyways, it contains about 5 stages. And several characters consisting of Mario, Luigi, Wario, Samus, Sagat, Donkey Kong and Richter Belmont. Random cast I know. Storyline doesn't really make sense. Games alright though. I tampered with platforming and whatnot, as well as transformations for a character. Contains small examples of various things. Anyway...Enjoy. Again, I WOULD take suggestions and whatnot, but...since this is me getting familiar with the program...MEH.

At first when I read the subject line, I thought it was going to be a mod based off of that 80's movie with the giant dog-dragon thing and whatnot.
Seems crazy (and like my very first mod too!). I'll try it out, if only for Richter.

Same here, I thought this mod is remake of an old game with same title i.e Neverending Story but it turns out it's something else.
Anyways, are you using animated gif for the preview? It seems it's not looped.

Damnit. Oh well. I'll fix it at some point. I deleted the images to make the GIF. I'll have to make another one up later.

Finally I can play and finish this mod.
Well, as shot shows this mod uses resized small sprites from NES I believe. It looks good but the floor gives bad impression cause it's not isometric. And I did confused with it since 2nd chapter is 2D while the 1st one is 3D.
The characters, I can't see any balance here. Samus has advantage over other chars while some just unable to shoot. The unbalance gets serious in certain stages especially last stages.
The gameplay is fine, just don't change chars. Some levels are challenge, some are simple and some are just unfair. The difficulty order is not linear though. Battle with Crocomire is real pain, absence of invinsibility on respawn is the cause.
Frankly, the psychotic dialogues are what irritate me most. Too vulgar and rude IMO.

I played some of this mod about a week ago. it's basicly an abomination of a mod, and very random which is why I like it.

That's why I liked it.

It is an abomination lol. I'll probably retouch on it at some point. I was displeased how some things were going and wanted to move to another chapter of the story me and my friends wrote. Next release will most likely be a cross of a fighting game and a platformer, with...balance.
I'll focus a lot more on the fighting aspect and the stages. As you can tell in this one, there is pretty much NOTHING moving in the backrounds of the stages.
This game was basically just me getting used to the engine.
My next game will be much better. (Whenever I get the energy to get my flabby arse up and start it.)

This game is funny :cheers!:

The game is kinda ok. I played it and the character commands look sloppy. But the gameplay is nice though. :)
