The emul works 100% speed and sound with both psps (Slim and Phat)
Just put the OpenBor folder on MS:/PSP/GAME
To run the emul, you need to set the kernell to 3.xx or 4.xx or 5.xx.
How i do this ?
Turn on your PSP and hold R. Then go to configuration and you'll see the option to change the kernell.

I have to agree with ned on this. I've been looking for more music to put in my "other" folder along with the prodigy and VnV Nation. BTW this mod should've had the prodigy's Breath track, it would fit the fast pace action of this mod.

Just completed S&L mode :)
so - everything is great!! the gameplay is more complicated, but more fun and cool, the combos are more crazy - one combo-special can cancel into another one - and thats really kicka$$ :cheers!:
the new char is cool, i liked tetsuo from gekidou, but shin is better 10 times) And i liked soundtracks! espicially the one from S&L3 trailer :)
(and it was so pleasant to hear some old and sweet tracks from PainKiller in last stages ;D)

Spoilerthe ending was a little shocking :eek:, you really showed the main heroes as hehe - not a good people :laughing:I really didnt think that shiva could kill lisa because of power, in first s&l he swore to protect her, in second part they had a kiss in the end, and now...well - surprising, really :eek:
BTW - in the end i could play only as shiva to defeat shin and lisa, so shiva is the winner in the end, is it the only ending? or the "winner" can be another char? and if there is second player - we should fight each other?) for example in battle with shin - 2nd player will play as shin? and if he win it will be a gameover? ;D

In my tests, the winner of combos was Shiva (he need more tech practice).
But all 4 chars can do crazy combos!

I wanna congratulate derico for awesome job i was serching some youtube vids end ended up finding the trailer for S&L 3 which caught my eye and brought me here :)
I tryed S&L2 first and it was awesome and very fun too, great ideia this was, really Streets of rage sure brings back memories :) but being able to play with Shiva and Lisa and having storyline is kick *** :cheers!: i like how you try give more depth to these chars and up until now i can say you are very talented ;)
I Will try part 3 soon to see how it goes i found S&L2 a bit hard kept dying like crazy on some parts :laughing: still have to train those combos ;D

Here's some feedback: the Music & sound effects were exceptionally good, with the experience of playing as Shin, I had a fun sense of 'drama' & power while using him. Not bad.

Masterderico - i found some sort of a problem in game.
if there is second players, i mean if 2 players are playing, then, after defeating Yen, when you must fight with Shin, select screen appears. You are only able to select Shiva there, but it means that both players can choose only shiva. And when player 1 select shiva, second player cant - the message "Player 2 - select another character" appears. and we stucked here he-he. Does that mean that from here only one player can go on to the end?

Just Finished this mod!
for sure the game is excellent. Excellent combo system, good graphics and music. spent some time training combos.
Nice gameplay. Real pleasure to play it.
But, the plot....
SpoilerOk. The whole trilogy is based on betrayal, so there is nothing wrong with Shin's betrayal. Finally plottwist in Openbor it's real fun!But 2 betrayals in a row..... I don't know..... IMHO it's a bust!
The other thing. I don't like Shiva since Streets Of Rage on my Genesis. I don't like this type of characters and I don't like him =)))) Why does he gets everything
The 1&2 part I playedd as Lisa. And this part I played as Shin. I really liked him as for gameplay, as for plot. And in the end I should kick him =))) And then Kick my secondd favourite character.
I think there are also some people, who have the same preferences as me =))
It would be nice if you could let player choose on whose the side he will be. If chooses Shin - he should kick both Shiva and Lisa. If shiva - than Shin, than Lisa. If Lisa - then Shin, than Shiva.
But it's up to you man. =))
Any way, despite this thing - the game is really good. Thank you for developing possibilities of OpenBor and bringing good beat'em'ups back to our screens.
It's also pleasure to see how you grow up since 1st Shiva and Lisa as the developer.

Your option is great, but OB is a little limited to do all this load and unload chars, if kill, other char, etc...Or ill need a massive giant pro script, lmao!

In fixed version the main priority is to be able to finish the game in 2 player mode :)
SpoilerBut i think that just allowing second player to select shiva so that 2 shivas kill shin and then lisa is bad idea though. If it is not possible to make each player ending, then maybe a battle with second player? or if its not possible then maybe a different ending in 2 players mode?? :thinking:

I only hear the 1up sound and nothing is display during in the practise mode.

Just tap the button.
Masterderico set it up so that the movelist text entity to skip when you press a button.
Unfortunately , if you hold the button for too long , it will remove itself prematurely.

The movelist WORKS. ;)
You know, i missed a few things like you show, but im really happy cose is a little things!
MCW, is alot hard to do tons of moves for a limited number of sprites. I tried to use all my imagination and use some special and nice effects on moves!
And i tried a not "loosy" and more great gameplay than the others S&L games.

There is two Rocket models, one for normal stages and one for car stage.
The Rocket from normal stages falls normally without error, and the Rocket on the car stage i take off the "die" on floor anim cose he is running.

Great game, MD! I was a huge fan of S&L 2 and to me, this is the next logical evolution in gameplay. In fact, this is in my top 3 favorite mods of all time.
I do see what MCW was talking about with the movelist, though. I can only get it to work for me every once in a great while, otherwise, it just quickly flashes on the screen and then disappears. I'm playing on the PSP if that makes any difference.

Wow i played this for a couple of hours yesterday its amazing for real i couldnt believe how good it was excellent job.The characters were awesome but after unlocking mona shes a combo monster and my fave to play with now.I hope you continue to use these characters in some shape or form either way good luck and I cant wait for your next project!

Hello, I tried S&L3 with my half-brother. It is a real masterpiece.
My only complaint would be the 2 players 'fight after Yen' bug...
But since you are currently fixing it in the 1.1 version, I guess it's good.
Oh, and I was not able to see the movelist ingame.

Hey, I am having issues with the movelist button on this game, (and on jennifer for that matter) seems like I touch it, and it flashes the movelist for like, a split second, and returns to the game, thus I either have to pause the game VERY precisely, or do without XD, any ideas what might be causing that?
