yes, I have worked for a year in these 3 games, and you as mod players also have much work to do
Splatterhouse ep.1 - Deception of the Mask take above 2:30 Hours to reach the end
Splatterhouse ep.2 - Journey Through Hell   take above 1 Hour to reach the end
Splatterhouse ep.3 - Back to Light take above 1 Hour to reach the end

by the way how can I put the animated gif in the right place ??
thanks people !!!

I noticed ep.1 was quite long, I was on stage 9 before my vista decided it wanted to shut down and update.  :P

However in my time playing I noticed this game is of very high quality, the intro to ep.1 looks like it could have been an intro to an arcade game. the character and enemy animations are very fluid and help the presentation of the game into fooling you that this isn't a bor mod.

as unbalanced mutant rick was in splatterhouse 3, m.rick really has some moves. I find it fun to beat up creepy crawlies and send them half way across the screen. and if that isn't enough all the versions of rick has some hidden moves like one where rick sends himself forward like a human pinball but the real fun isn't in rick's movesets but in inclusion of traps make this a jolly time for ghoulie busting.

one example would be throwing your enemies into a pit of corpse hands and watch them chip away at any enemies' health into they reduce into a pile of slime, and when they do they stay there, another nice touch. Whats fun about ep.1 is that when you think you have seen everything, every item, every enemy, something new will come your way *least in your first play through anyways* some enemies like the zombie scientist from splatterhouse 2 *remember him? the paper weight that died in one hit* shouldn't even be an enemey but that way he works is very well executed and surprisingly awesome.

well cuchara, I freaking love this game and I'll be watching the dreamcast version very closely. cheers!  :cheers!:

Ohh moonmaster1  thankyou very much !!! I?m so happy that you like it !!! but the long of the ep1 its no problem really in windows version you can stop playing in stage 8 (for example) and then continue another time from the same stage , I know ist a very long way , but its fun walk through it don?t you think ?,
thanks a lot people !!!

just want to say what a surprise this mod is!!! :wow!: this is one of the funniest mods i've played until now, congratulations Cuchara!  :cheers!:

some feedback:

- i wish you would add some riseinv to chars, because sometimes when the enemies beat you down, they don't let you stand up until death.
- sometimes when you're surrounded by enemies, you can do nothing other than be beaten to death, the special move is not very useful, a matter or collision i think.
- it seems to me all chars do the same damage or similiar, so the slowest chars (like mutant rick) are also the weaker.

other than this, i love those mods, love story scenes, love the general atmosphere you've recreated from the original games, and have so much fun with rick taylor splatterhouse 3 moveset, he's my favourite char. ;D

wow these new splatter house games kick *** compared to  the  orginal ive started playin the 1st chapter and im so amazed how much work you put in to the stages. and i love the concept how there all diffrent enemies and nice touch on the scenes even the art is sweet so thx again. and keep up the grand work on your mods cant wait to play the 2nd chapter as i say these are more of a challenge. orginal was to easy for me and also the game play is like an arcade thats another thing i like about it and nice music you used for it.
