If you don't mind I'll upload a pak-file of your mod here although you are obviously planning to revise it. I just want to make sure I'll upload the most recent one which I guess is the one you've uploaded here. Bloodbane had uploaded another version here before but it lacks your new how-to-play and the level introduction screen so it should be an older version.

The only thing that puzzles me is that in the "newer" version" the combo counter doesn't disappear anymore and is only set to 0 again when you die. It worked correctly in the "older" version.

How to create a .Pak file I use Improved Borpack and no run.
Is for create to test in my Psp, thanks.

make txt file ,put this inside :
borpak -b -d data myod.pak

and rename file.txt to file.bat

then run it.
IMO usage instruction is very weird and theres no simple example how to use it,that could be changed cause now reading instruction you have to really guess what has to stay what needs to be replace by path etc.
