Contra: Locked 'N' Loaded 3rd demo

 As promised before, I have made and uploaded 3rd demo to this site. Waiting for approval from admins!



 This demo is for testing compatibility with latest devbuild. I've tried the mod myself and didn't find any bugs but maybe there are fresh eyes out here who might notice one.

 There's 3rd mission included in the demo. I don't have any ideas for mission name so I just pick name out of nowhere: Aftermath. It's not complete since I'm still working on it. It features 1st, 3rd and 4th stage (yes, no 2nd stage).

 Also, I'm adding practice mode to the mod. This mode as the name suggests, is for practice. It plays regular levels except that at the beginning of new stage, lives will be reset to 10 lives and score will be reset to 0. I removed cutscenes for practice mode so playing the real mode is the only way to watch those scenes ;).

 Last, there's locked Boss Rush mode which have 4 options:
1. Mission 1 bosses
2. Mission 2 bosses
3. Mission 3 bosses
4. Xtreme which features all bosses in this demo

 I'm updating the mod. The biggest issue is incompatibility with latest build, I'm also fixing this problem.
 Since I don't like uploading same stuff, I added 3rd mission to the mod.

 Anyways, I'm waiting for feedback from this demo :).

Have tried this.It's as extraordinary as before.

I found a problem but not a bug:
Enemies can't be continuously hit by players.
You can see there're always bullets miss hitting.

 Yes, you are correct. It's one problem I have when creating this mod. Fastattack could solve this but it causes more trouble too so I decided to leave this be. I wish this issue would be solved.

Just tried the demo, and really there are no problems with gamepad.
It seemed to me that weapons became stronger, loved new "M" weapon and that new "V" weapon. Also, I hope the 3rd mission will be completed and with cutscenes in your final version and adding 1 new character would also be nice :) .
Oh and one more thing i noticed - in previous full version, when changing the shooting mode character was blinking with white, and in this demo there are no visuals when changing shoot-mode.Imho you should return it :)
well, good luck with finishing the mod, and with dealing with that "fastattack" problem.

 Glad to hear that gamepad is working well.

 As for stronger weapons, yeah, I increased the shooting rate, that's why some rapid weapons like Machine Gun, Vulcan, Spread Shot and Flamethrower becomes stronger.

 The closest would be Bill Rizer from Contra 4 but he's still missing some sprites.

 :doh!: I forgot to reenable it! I disabled it because I thought it caused bug but apparently it's not. Fixed! thanks :)

Hey, nicely done on the 3rd demo! I tried it all the way, and the 3rd episode "Aftermath" looks promising. I have the "complete" version as well, which has the first two episodes and gives me 20 lives at the start...although, I have never been able to clear the first episode -- and yet I was able to clear the second.

Oh, and nice to meet you all. I couldn't find the "Welcome" section, but anyway, I'm glad to have found Contra: Locked 'N' Loaded (thanks to the mention by fellow Contra fan, Iniche).
