Yes this deffintely has the old comics style look which im just amazed with your sketches and designs they are really sharp and impressive but I feel you need to make the robots have a  blow up sequence since there robots anyways. As  for the foot clan they should be human and have some really awesome blood effect when you slice them up and etc following the turtles same thing when they die as alot of those early comics were much higher in adult rating then the toons with mature content you want it to feel and look like the real deal.  Overall excelent work and keep up the satisfactory with everything you do. For what i can tell this will be  the no1 beats of rage best  games listing .

Thanks a lot man!!  The idea for the robots is pretty good, I'll start working on it as soon as I have a chance. As for the Foot Soldiers, there's blood, but it still doesn't look the way I want it to.
You're right about the comic books, they were pretty sick, speaking of the comic books, have you checked the TMNT reboot? I think is pretty good so far, Kevin Eastman is involved, it's no longer black & white, it's pretty dark and it even uses some ideas from the 1987 cartoon, I'm definitely liking it so far.

Turtles are aliens? ***king garbage, they do this crap so it's 'a whole new franchise' different from previous ones.  Just like the shitty DOOM movie that decided that they'd make the base of the story 'a zombie virus' rather than the entire original base of the story that it was demons from hell.  **** I hate corporate bullshit.

I know, I agree with you Beastie, but in this case one of the co-creators of the franchise is involved. If you wanna check the TMNT reboot comic, just type TMNT IDW (IDW is the publisher). About the new movie, I still wanna check it out. For what I understand the whole turtles being aliens idea came from Eastman, I hope they figure something, in the original comic books there was a lot of aliens and spaceships, but I do prefer the idea of the turtles being from the earth and transformed by alien technology.

As I understand it, it was Michael Bay's idea (Alien Turtles). The venerable Kevin Eastman is only an adviser. Not happy about this either by the way... but Mr. Bay already chop-shopped my favorite franchise. I guess he was only getting warmed up...

Completely off topic I apologize but granted the first two transformer movies ducked on epic levels but the third was pretty decent

Really? It was Michael  Bay's idea? Not a big fan of that guy right now. Personally, I don't think the transformers movies were that bad, I love the FX, but story-wise it was just not that good, the human characters were too annoying and they were a lot of the time just an excuse to have some "funny moments" in the movie, I hope that with the new movies they explore a little more on the backstory, and the Fall y Cybertron.

Oh yes, the popularity & success of the live action Transformers movies cannot be denied. This is why Michael Bay feels confident in tinkering with TMNT. The fans of TMNT are a much broader & more vocal bunch compared with Transformers, they've already 'reacted' to the news. In fact in light of the reaction he's promised that it would be close to the original- except he said the same thing about Transformers, so I wouldn't take it at face value. If Mr. Bay continues his pattern it's possible many many people will go to see this movie. Also, although I don't like it & find it disrespectful, there is the idea that it's just another take/version on the franchise, his own different vision. Guess well see what happens.

I agree with the part of it just being a different take/version on the franchise, I just hope they focus more on character development than just mindless action, I believe the special effects in a movie should only compliment the story and not take over the whole freaking thing (just saying). But even when the movie comes out and if it gets bad reviews I'm still gonna go see it. I'm a BIG TMNT FAN, HUGE FAN.

@ ryomaneo: Yeah! The comics are waaay better than the cartoon, but the cartoon (and also the Archie comics) introduced some cool characters. If you do check out that comic I hope you like it dude, it kind of blends the darkness of the original ones with some ideas from the cartoon, kind of what I'm doing with my mod, maybe that's why I was digging it. It's a different take, but I feel it's true to the riginal.

Was a fan of the archie comics and the originals as well as the 80s cartoon as a kid, haven't kept up with the new stuff much but after talking about tmnt here I felt like watching some, wasn't sure whether to watch new or old stuff, just searched tmnt on youtube an ended up finding this.

Dunno if you seen it already but I thought it was rather appropriate after what we were talking about and now the continued discussion here    In any form tmnt will always be pretty cool You're mod mixing the different styles and story is exactly what fans want.
