wow, good work!!!

to make things more simple, you could make it come across a wall (for example inside a cave or wherever...)

anyways, pretty good effort!!!  :cheers!:

Thanks a lot man! I think I have an idea, but it's gonna be a slow process. I'm pretty sure when I'm finished, it will be worth it. It feels good when you have a challenge and then you figure how to do something that you wanted to do, but didn't know how, of course I have had a lot of help from the people at LavaLit, but I had this in my mind for the longest time, and once I see it "in motion" in front of my face, I know it's gonna be very satisfying.

I know the feeling, this engine has gave me lot of satisfaction!!

it's a slow process, but worth it!!!  :cheers!:

a suggestion: if you play the Battletods mod (one of my all-time favorite mods!!!) there's one boss similar to the 1st boss on the nes Battletoads. You can check how it works and make a boss on that style, as the Shredder's spider vehicle on TMNT Turtles in time for the Snes.

Great! You should make vertical version too ;).

animating the drill is gonna be a pain...

I don't think so. From my observation, you only need to shift the diagonal lines in drill head. The distance between each shifting is defined by how smooth the animation would be.

Thanks a lot guys! About the vertical version, HELL YEAH!! definitely, just like the roadkill rodneys, the transport module will come from below the ground, so there will be a vertical version. My idea is, once the vehicle comes from the ground, it will "land" on it, that part should be easy, I can just rotate the image. But the drill you see on the image that I uploaded is not the final version, it's pretty much a triangle with diagonal lines, the one in the cartoon was more detailed, and that's what I'm going for, so I think it may be a pain, as soon as I have an image I'll upload it.

Works fine, just animate it faster.

Good sound effects for the drill will be what really makes it come to life, some screen shaking or something would help it feel like it's really coming out of the ground.  :eyebrow_action:

Thanks Beastie! I've already change the animation to a faster one. I added some sound effects and shaking when it comes out of the ground. But I do have another problem, The drill itself is a separated object from the enemy. The way I'm doing it is that drill will come from below the ground and then  it will spawn the enemy, which happens to be a boss. Now, I now how to spawn  an enemy as a boss but, I was wondering if it's possible to have an entity spawn another entity (this I know how to do), but I don't know how to make an entity spawn a "boss" entity. Also, I wanted the stage music to stop playing when the drill comes out of the ground, and then as soon as you see the enemy the "boss music" should start playing (just like in the original NES game). Any help is appreciated.

but I don't know how to make an entity spawn a "boss" entity.

I never cared about boss command anymore. I usually just spawn boss alone without any backups and change music with music command.

Speaking of boss music problem, there are 2 solutions:
1. Use script in boss' spawn animation to change music
2. Use delay trick in level, with correct timing so just when boss appears, music is changed.

1st is simple but it's inflexible since everytime this boss is spawned, you'll be stuck with this music.
2nd is tougher but it's flexible allowing to set music you like without tampering boss's text. In fact, you can spawn that boss again without changing music at all with this trick.

i have a question for you GaBoTiCo, do you have any plans to for introducing any of the turtle vehicles from the cartoon or toy line into  your masterpiece? was looking at tmnt toys on ebay say the turtle blimp and thought imo that would be dope to have like a stage or sub stage fighting on top if the blimp

Not much has changed, I've been working on a spawn animation for Rocksteady, I added a few lighting FX on some of the stages, I added a new move from TMNT4 (I'm actually happy with the way that came out). As for the vehicles, I never thought of the blimp but, I wanted to have a stage where they fight on top of the van, while April is driving it, but I have to find a way to introduce April that makes sense. As soon as I have something I'll post a video or something, the transport module has become a bit more of a challenge than I had anticipated, plus I work like 50 hours a week, it's really a matter of time I guess, but also lack of inspiration. Regardless, to have people asking me about the progress that I've made makes me wanna work on it.

Thanks lot man! My stages like all the sprites are made from scratch, I did google for pictures of New York and used them as a reference. It's a lot of work but, a lot of fun too.
