Drawing Week Challenge #1

1. Subject

This Drawing Week Challenge #1 is to draw a character known by almost anyone here in this forum, because of course you all love beat-em-up games. I confess this isn't my favorite, but anyway I'm not taking anything personal, that's why it's a challenge :D
The character is Cody from Final Fight 1.

I selected him because it's really a basic character with a standard men anatomy, nothing unusual.
I recommend everyone to draw his standing position so we can compare. Draw his front and side views.
It will be something easier to begin with. It's only the beginning, as we progress the subjects will have more freedom but in the other hand they will be harder, that's why we all must focus in the fundamentals of character creation: the principles of anatomy. If in anyway things get boring don't be desperate, creative events will come. :)

Just for the sake of clarification, you want this drawing of Cody in a model-sheet like format yes? One suggestion I would give for future contests is to allow more interpretive freedom on the part of the artist, like giving them a scene from a game to draw or selecting something having to do with a subject. Just an idea to consider.

The name is Harumi Koda and Nathane Georgia.

By the way, Harumi Koda imaged singer's Kumi Koda. And, Nathane Georgia imaged Nathane Jones who was the pro wrestler of WWE.

Arms of Nathan set up the gattling gun.

Awesome Cody's! I'm glad to see no one took the time limit seriously, otherwise we'd only have one drawing of him.

I had to shelve him temporarily because I have something else I was doing before I started this (and I really need to finish)- I've drawn Cody, particularly his face way too many times. I'm trying to get him under a specific style that's not my own & also, in different poses/expressions. I even made a 3D model in that style so I could figure out his facial dimensions. Since I finally got him more or less the way I want I'm pretty excited about it, but he'll have to wait. I could show what I have (which is allot honestly), but I'm not in the habit of showing something that's half finished unless I'm developing it with someone else.

Funny thing is I have those Adidas! I just positioned them on the table in front of me and sketched them. lol

  Nice one, man! I like the look of Cody especially for the shoes and the pants. I'm amazed by that. This is getting to my "nerve" (head). I'm stuck to it now.
