Are you just asking for playable characters or just characters in general?

I mean, it might be a good idea to see some more vanilla mooks.

i have all my playable characters  ;)
im just looking at peoples ideas for bad guys with weapons that they think will fit in my mod.

well, the usual suspects are all there, so this might be a totally redundant list:

you have all of your guys from the various golden axe games, no problems there.

you have all of the Knights of the Round guys, but by comparison they look a little too generic I think for what you're shooting for. Not to mention, I'm getting a feeling your game is more focused on a Conan the Barbarian kind of aesthetics, so most of those guys won't fit very well. (Except maybe the stage 3 boss Arlen, and maybe the mages)

king of dragons has skeletons (using sword and shield combo) and gnolls (using either throwing spears or using crossbows), but then again you have better versions of them in the Dungeons and Dragons side scroller game. Both are from Capcom, so chances are Capcom just used the king of dragons guys as a prototype. You can, if you want, just re-use the player characters from that game as mooks though. (If the difference in aesthetics doesn't bother you that much) I think they also a fairly good selection of works using maces to go around.

Obviously, you got a lot of choices to go around from the dungeons and dragons games.

let's see... who else....

Silver Samurai (Marvel vs. games) and Bishamon (Darkstalkers) are both weapon users of the samurai variety, and would make decent additions if you needed some more samurai guys to fill it out. Bishamon is an undead samurai, so you can even use him as a more demonic warrior.

oh yeah, from the namco x capcom game, they've actually made 2D sprites out of some of their 3D game guys. No nightmare in there though, I checked.

but you might get some ideas.

i already have my skeletons from the game d&d but im still looking for a level to put them in my mod,if you have any ideas of a level plz let me know.

 There are lots of guys that might fit this. For instance, almost every boss in Legend wield weapon and suitable for this mod.

I believe that characters will not fit well on your mod! with all due respect
but I must say they are not serious enough characters for that mod
you're doing they do not do the style golden ax!the skulls of dd is very coll

hey guys !my golden axe return of dark guild characters is complete  ;)
the now im playing around editing levels for the mod !i have a pic of level one with rain.i want to add 10 levels all in for the mod,i have 7 in mind.what im looking at doing is the first time you play the mod it will have 8 levels,when you complete it you will open up showdown that will have two new levels and a new playable character.

If you have like 3 out of 10 levels complete, I suggest you release a demo only if you're not done with what you want. It'll look like crap when releasing as complete version (without demo). Good luck with it though. :cheers!:

 :bored: dam what happened to this mod  any continueing on it or has it been abondoned real shame if it has it was shapeing up to be a great fan mod of golden axe i loved the stages and chars which was added  :nervous:
