Nice job on the game.  It?s pretty hard playing on the key board, but otherwise I enjoyed it.  Glad you included the parallax of the buildings in stage 1b.

Are you using a gamepad directly? That's probably the main issue. Don't use a gamepad directly. Disable it and instead use it through Joy2Key.
Really? Didn't think that would be an issue. Guess I'll try the keyboard next time. BTW, do you think this issue will still occur while playing this mod on the wii?

For this game, I would be comfortable on a joy pad. I will have to order the snes pad.

Nono, you CAN use a gamepad. It's just that you should set the controls to keyboard, then use joy2key to assign keyboard keys to the gamepad. That way, it's like using the keyboard (which means the controls will not be broken) through the gamepad.

Ok, I see what you saying now. Right now, I'm on my uncle's PC, and I can't change the controls because I have the installed at home on my PC.

As for the issue with the Wii, that's a good question. I've never put OpenBOR on my Wii so I'm not familiar with that sorry ;)

You know, I give this one a second chance, and what I see is a really great work and effort, but please don't ruin this with this extreme difficulty you set, it's not fun at all when you see a bullet coming from the front, you duck and shoot and just at that time you get another bullet from an enemy who hasn't even showed up and shoots your a$$ :/, you stand up and get a grenade x3 from the grenadier outside the scren as well.
Q (L) Reika, and BTW, no more mr. "Nice Guy".

:). I'm aware of the shot from offscreen but I decided to leave it be cause the enemy who does it is easy to kill. It simply require good reaction :).
As for extreme difficulty, I assume you haven't even halfway of the mod, you need more practice. There are more fun to face than just triple grenaders ;).
Hey, are we just only talking about 1st mission here? there's 2nd mission to play too.

but Ray is my favorite Contra character of all time, any chance he'll be making an appearance in your remake?

Tell you what, if someone is willing to prepare his sprites for this mod, I'll add him ;).

No, it's complete mod, otherwise it won't be posted in this section :).
The 2 missions are seperate missions, there are no corelation.

Yeah, and there are 2 more problems other than that. I'm going to solve it with the remake.

I suppose that includes the problem that fired bullets don't move horizontally in the latest OpenBOR?

I agree with Mr.Q.This game is too hard which breaks so much fun stuff.
And the game speed is faster than official ones.
