What are the best mods you've ever played?

Hey dude how's you well the top 5 mod's are imo are 1.The original beats of rage. 2. Rocket viper but the second one looks like it will be set to surpass it. 3. Final Fight DC 4. Shiva and Lisa 3 5. Golden axe Genisis they are my personal favorites.

for learning i recommend "Castlevania - Legacy of Dracula" i learn alot from that mod, is really well done and use alot of engine things and 0 scrips.

For just fun...
I really like the mod Jennifer is kind of spooky, the music is a little to soft. maybe with some hardcore music like splatterhouse will it be better.
The NightSlashersX is good too but it takes too much time in loading.
And the Golden Axe - Remake....
And...And...And...Now that i see there is a lot of fun mods to play.

Yeah, I think this same exact thread gets made at least twice a week. Maybe we should sticky one of the more popular versions of this topic to the discussions board, so that newcomers are less likely to create similar threads.

Yeah. That's the problem especially with first-time posters (or newbies). There are some threads that have been created before. I really don't know if we can have it merged with the same threads into one so it can be stickied.

90% of the mod i have played i have quit before finish the second stage.

there are only few ones i have liked and played until the end

1 - nightslasherX  the most polish in my opinion

2 - crime busters  the best use of scripts

3 - jennifer,  polished and with good scripts and enemies

4- super fighting spirit,  the most cool gameplay very close to my own personal favorite

5- aof remix - best conversion plot to a fighting game to a beat n up

Recently playing volcanic's bare knuckle vacume 3.01 mod I will say it is COMPLETELY AWESOME MOD and one of my favourite beat em up ever just a great game plays great awsome music and it got that old streets of rage feeling to it if you have not downloaded it do so brilliant.

well i can quit a game by many reasons,

1 - if i dont like the game play
2- if i get bored with all the same, the same enemies all the time need at least some color variations
3- bad design, maybe for lack of experience or maybe for lazyness
4- too much agressive enemies on the screen that dont let me do anything
5- if i dont like the rooster or the plot and i forced to follow or read it... most of time i quit


the game play for me is all, i can play nighslashers and fight spirit forever for exemple and i love kill the enemies! i really enjoy this more than finish the game...

i think most people here have feel it on mega drive times on streets of rage2, play just for fun because it was cool kill enemies with axel "ra-tah-tah"

i liked your game fist of legendary heroes i liked how you made the stages and such
if i remember right i have unlocked storm and played until one elevator stage and i got tired and quit
but in this case it was because im not much fan of corssovers, but its only a personal felling, your mod was done well i assure you

That's cool.  I think that while we do need to sticky at least one of the "best/favorite mod" threads, it also helps to see what people do and don't like since it helps us all improve.

Crossovers...are interesting.  They have their own advantages, disadvantages, and challenges of their own.  That said, I probably do need to go update my thread in a bit.
