If you will build it, you will be able to transport it easily? Isnt this dangerous ? Some of DIY Hovercrafts look impressive but i bet these people can afford transportation of these things easily.

Mine is only meant for one person use. In fact, the main reason I built it is to act as a floor lift to surprise people in a haunted house kind of thing I'm doing at my office. It just happens to be a Hovercraft by design. Anyway, it's now operational, see for yourself:

@rafhot: So, now that I've built a pneumatic machine, does that count as air mastery?

this makes me remember when i was a child and i wanted to have a gijoe hovercraft but they never give me one

now you achieved the air mastery level 2
a bunge jump and you go to level 3
a parachute and you go lvl 4
and if you use that costume that have wings like those winged squirrel you achieve the level 5 or try to pilot some airplanes count too,

 It's so noisy, people would be surprised at the sound of vac instead of the hovercraft.

DC, that hovercraft is slick. I was surprised when I saw it actually moved you around!

How the hell did you plan on hiding it, though? Especially with that huge silver vacuum-tube-thing?

To answer both Bloodbane and NickyP:

First, thank you. On surprise and hiding, the "haunted house" is a tunnel leading into my office. It stops at a very small chamber where the floor you're standing on is the hovercraft itself. To go through it you first walk through a coffin, and then along a short platform. Both are the same height as the hovercraft; this keeps you from noticing you are steeping onto it (that and it's carpeted with fleece). The hose coupling is just outside of the tunnel wall so you can't see it, and the only light is from an overhead blacklight. As for noise, the vacuum unit is in a remote location - that's what the long hose is for.

When the sensor is triggered a micro controller will activate three relays to supply mainline power to the vacuum for 30 seconds, along with a strobe light and a set of speakers hidden inside the chamber. The speakers are in turn hooked to a computer playing random screams and sounds.
