From all the horror inspired mods, I'd say we have horror fans at Lavalit. I can enjoy almost any movie from whatever genre so long it's done well. I actually don't find most horror films to be scary, but that's just me. Not that I cant enjoy some that are just a little creepy and of course some movies can be scary or creepy and not even be considered horror (Silence of the Lambs comes to mind). With Halloween nearing, I was curious what anyone else considers a good horror/scary/Halloween type movie.

Here are my favorites:

The Excorcist
Alone in a room with the devil = scary

The Thing (1982)
The 1951 movie is pretty good too

Notable mention- Less scary but still good:

Curse of the Demon

Evil Dead 2
Humor with horror & a bit "in your face" at times (literally).

Also German Expressionistic movies have something nothing else made has been able to touch, David Cronenberg movies are pretty... uhm disturbing too  .
