1st time Hello ^^ and my vid

Hello! pleased to meet you all im Ninjataki and am noob here but really love the BOR mods soooo much! Streets of Rage is my fav 2D fighter and i really think this forum is awesome so i wanted to try and contribute something 

I really like making music vids to games (aion in particular) but do have some mash-up vids with 2D as well.

Welcome to Lavalit! Do you ever plan to learn the engine and try to make a game yourself? It looks intimidating at first, but believe me that it can be a very fun experience!

actually yes i wanted to have a look but then i read posts about how intimidating it was lol and im not so sure now since i got no prior programming exp...

i am crazy about playing the mods though XD

It's really only hard when you first start out, but there's a lot of trial and error on in this territory. Before I had first started out, I opened up a mod or two and check out the files used for the characters, and it looked pretty simple, and it is. Once you get into it, the basic stuff will be second nature to ya.
Anyway, welcome to Lavalit.

  sorry for the this really noob question but i been messing around with embedding (tryin to put vlc on my site etc etc) changing values and such so i started wondering if this is something like BOR modding in a very rough way..    eg opening up the basic BOR template and messing with the code/values to edit or insert bachgrounds/charactors??

once again sorry for a nooby question its just i really wanna give this BOR mod thing a try once i finish doing this website project.
