It's a common internet prank to lie about what you are linking to. You know, like "hey check this awesome skating trick," and then the video is about slugs having sex. So I guess somewhere along the line, someone who really liked that song decided to use it as the #1 prank.  I can't think of any other reason.

I see, makes sense. I think the last time I was rick rolled was when I was trying to fine a video of Rocket Raccoon from MvC3. Kinda p***ed me off, but I've seen a video now.
