I think OpenBoR runs directly from a USB device on Wii, forwarder is not needed.

Maybe check out http://www.gameex.com/ it runs off media centre (not quite sure but I think can be used as forwarder) - it's built for emulators but can be setup to run anything from it.

I believe that's for PC and not intended for Wii so doesn't really help me on a channel for the Wii for openbor.

I am really surprised at that no ones made one and released it for this terrific app for the Wii.

Looks to me like BeasTie doesn't quite understand what a forwarder channel on the Wii is. A forwarder channel is a small program installed in the Wii's main menu, allowing users to start homebrew apps more directly, without having to go through the Homebrew Channel.

Sorry I thought you meant a forwarder that lets you run apps on PC from your console.

They use same term 'forwarder' when you setup something media centre to run on your PC on XBOX360, I thought this was kinda what you meant.
I don't know much about this stuff but I just recently happen to kinda help my bro set something like that up on xbox so it was in my head.

Just trying to help ;) Sorry I'm getting used to reading so many posts from people that don't speak/type english very well lately I'm starting to get dyslexic or something just reading normal posts.

Hi I am also in the search for that, but up to now, Did not come across anything. But I guess it is something possible

I also think that maybe if we get the PUNEMU wii DVD compilation and change one of the emulators for Openbor, Maybe, just maybe it runs directly from dvd. Dunno about the Pak folder, if it supports DVD and if PUNEMU is open to have one of the emuS changed to openbor. I did not have time to check that BUT i think it would be nice to mention this here, since some PAKs are heavy to have a collection stored on a SD card.

It would be a nice alternative to have the games loaded, each with its own cover: Punemu Openbor Load by neogamma channel.

I am in search of one of those two sollutions, if anb come across any of 'em please PM me.

I still don't understand why people want to use a forwarder for OpenBOR or any other Wii homebrew application.

You want something like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_INvLJNMQto

Note: there is a topic discussion where someone is going to do a channel, the topic is here, this topic is a little old.
