OpenBOR 3709 crash on WinXP SP3

Yesterday I've downloaded and installed build 3709 on my PC and PSP. The PSP version worked fine (not counting some issues with Golden Axes), but the PC version simply refuses to launch. The logs show nothing but free/used RAM stats.
Computer: Asus P50IJ laptop
OS: WinXP SP3
Paks in Paks folder:
- Beats of Rage
- Beats of Rage Xtra
- Crisis Evil 1, 2
- Golden Axe Legend
- Golden Axe Myth
- Golden Axe Remake
- Golden Axe - The Curse of Death Adder

Issue description: When running the exe, a black window flashes and nothing more happens

No problem here on windows 7.
Have you tried to remove the old saves?

Tried Golden Axe Myth on a winxp with sp3 and it ran OK.
Don't have other games though.

try updating video drivers, make sure you have OpenGL

Turns out, as I've copied all my folders from PSP, including /Saves, they were incompatible with PC version or smth like that. Wiping out its contents resolved the issue. Thanks guys!
