It's basically a portable Neo Geo AES... kind of like those portable clone systems, just not made by shady Chinese developers. Looks like it'll come in two varities; the standalone system for $130, and the Gold bundle for $200. The Gold bundle comes with a lol-tastic mini-AES chargestation, an arcade stick with TV-Out, and 20 built-in games. Apparently, if you use the arcade stick to make it a home console, a second person can plug in their own arcade stick for multiplayer games.

Do you plan to get it? The usual retailers (Gamestop, Best Buy, Wal-mart etc) should have it this December. Personally, I was never really into SNK's games (blasphemy, I know) and didn't care for their consoles. I have a NeoGeo Pocket Color, but the only game I have for it is Sonic Pocket Adventure. Still, it might be worth blowing a Christmas bonus check on. At least, if it plays ROMs.... (which I highly doubt).

I have to admit, I'm kind of surprised to hear that Gamestop will carry it. They refuse to acknowledge things like the Yobo FC or Genmobile (the latter of which is actually licensed by Sega). Hell, at some of them, you can't even find GBA games anymore!
