Attack chain

I need help in the next thing:

By pressing attack button player makes attack chain and each attack animation begins from 0 frame end at the end frame and then starts animation of second animation and so on.

Is it possible to make continuing attack chain, when each next attack starting from specific frame of the previous attack, to make like this:

You can use cancel or add idle 1 to certain frames, like this:

anim attack2
frame.
frame
idle 1 #accept interrupt
frame
idle 0
frame

The drawback of cancel is you need to time your input, or keep pressing your attack button, unlike atchain, which you can have a break between 2 steps.

Anyway, it is your choice.
