First had the same problem, but it sometimes did work.

Level files are stageX-Y.txt with X-Y € {1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 2-1, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 4-1, 4-2, 4-3, 4-4}, thus 11 level files. Guess, said level is stage4-2.txt.

4 difficulties, thus 4 stage files.
The level files for the difficulties sometimes are different (and not only in case/number of items/enemies; e.g. in 4-3 the last lines: in easy "group 1 1 at 350", in normal "wait at 350", in hard & extreme "wait at 3050").

Inside stage4-2.txt:
The spawn of gregKn earlier with "coords 400 1500" (thus should be out of normal range) has to count as dead (else the "wait at 300" shortly after his spawning would ever be active when he's alive, so the stage wouldn't continue at an earlier point).
Last enemies at 900 and 920, wait at 1100, while background and panel data/bgs/stage4/back2.gif only has a width of 1024 px and the 'real' stage only goes ~850 px.

There are two lines in it (don't know the colors and imho doesn't make much sense to put the hex here).
First line at width pixel 920 (as the last enemy is spawn when one is at 920) and second at 1100 (the wait at the end). Maybe it's not 920 but 915 where OpenBOR actually counts or something, but nevertheless it should give an impression of it.
First step: Go far, very far, right (so that one doesn't fall, but nearly does) => enemies appear => kill 'em => level finished.

Second step: Kick an enemy from the roof (thus they reach the 1100. pixel of stage) or oneself has to be kicked down (loosing a life, obviously).
Result: one comes to the next level.

Other uncute things:
* Sometimes a "GO" appears, but one can't walk (e.g. at the end of 2-1); sometimes some longer waiting
* After the last level (4-4, ends when one goes to the helicopter) no endscene (which is inside the game: "Excape from prision mission complete!", "Congratulation!", "The end" and then stuff/credits) appears, instead OpenBOR closes (without any error in the log) - 'cause of branch inside data/chars/ogetti/elicott2.txt (putting a "#" in front of the branch inside elicott2.txt and in front of "end" in the level sets, lead to the appearing of the endscenes) [cf. branching tutorial at http://lavalit.com:8080/index.php?topic=1712.0 and type endlevel info at http://www.caskeys.com/arc/games/openbor/wiki/index.php?title=Endlevel]

This mod is amazing!

Though I have a problem when I get to Stage 4 (level 16), I can't progress any further.  It's at the wooden flooring area that comes to an edge.  Enemies stop respawning, and jumping off simply kills me.
