on other stages you could put zombies falling on parachutes, or some flea man riding the monster dogs from contra III

 Ah yes, suggestions, I forgot to tell them here they are:

1. Devil Gun
 In Circle of the Moon, there's flying sword chasing you. In this mod, you could have Gun, rifle, chain gun or any modern weapon instead
2. Ghost with gun
 In Aria of Sorrow, there's female ghosts wielding rapier. In this mod, you could have them wield modern weapon instead ;)
3. Master Gun
 In Harmony of Dissonance, there's sword with shields and other weapons hovering around it. You could have the sword have modern weapons instead

I thought about adding turrents to the chopper, but then that would resemble too much the boss from Super C.
Interesting ideas for enemies. Always welcome to new ideas for enemies and such. I particularly liked the parachute idea or would that be too much like Metal Slug?

Sorry for the long delay! Just so everyone knows I go to school full time for Video Game Art and Design, the President of a club called VG Creators that I started, as well as full time in the Marine Corps so I haven't had any time until recent to work on my mod! Well, I have some free time and I am back. A note about this vid. We are aware of the graphical errors and such. This was an old vid for a test and we have progressed since then. I just want everyone to know that the Vamprobotector project is still alive. We have been keeping a watchful eye on the threads and the abundance of action platformers that will be coming out. There will be some good ones particularly Bloodbane's, but mine will be special. Anyone that wants to help out, (I especially need Castlevania/Contra Rebirth sprites as well as Contra 4 stages) please post on the thread or through a PM. Thank you for everyone that continued to support our mod!

What lies in between the buildings and Richter is just some Metal Slug sets that I modifed in the stage for effect and added parallex. The look similar to ruins as if buildings used to be there and they serve their purpose very well. Nothing special just for added effect.

I see the bandana keeps disappearing in idle and walking animation, will that be fixed?
Awesome background! I like the way those buildings looks gothic, something modern but still near castlevania atmosphere. A dawning sun could be the cherry on the cake up there...

Read Previous post. The Bandana issue has been fixed. It was still early here because my bud Warmachine changed the original Richter run he had to resemble more closely the one from Super C. If you notice the custom idle pose from the previous vid is not even included in this one. It was only a test.
