I didn't even see your post until just now. Anyway, you didn't do anything bad at all, I just thought this was an event that deserved to be posted in our News section.

Let the peeps on Bombergames know, one of our teams has an awesome remake on another Sega classic coming very soon. It's a good month to be a Sega fan!

It doesn't have online mode. From their blog:

Quote
The planned online feature had to be scrapped as there were problems getting the game to run lag free, even from early build. It would of taken longer to wait for an improvement on this, so it was left out and more time was spent on improving the game itself.

No big loss though. People obsess over online mode too much IMO. It's a nice thing to have, but not needed to make a great game.

Its not fun to play alone all the time,in many games online mode is the only one that is worth something for players.
Yes online and multiplayer isnt needed just look at god of war,i confess that game didnt sucked me in enough to finish it tho,i would prefer to play it together with someone,im sure it would be much more succesfull with 2 player option.I always adding 4 player option to my mod.
-----------
About the SORR,i played it and gameplay is good,i wish i could turn off hitting partners, game crashed/exited on me when i pressed X in stage after battle with boomerang guys.I never played orignal SOR that much ,these co-op moves when you throw partner many times disrupt gameplay.

That was one of the classic elements in the original Streets of Rage, and also by far the single most damaging attack you could perform. As far as I know it was the first side scroller to do it, and without those elements a remake just wouldn't be the same.

If you don't like them you probably won't like my work either; I've made a point to script in as many as I could think of. Some people may not care, but to me it really adds to the "team" feel.

I would like them if they would be implemented differently to not interfere with other players so if you would want team attack you perform waiting animation and second plauer must go close and perform combination to execute team attack, not like this when you want to help your partner and you are being thrown or you want to beat enemy and your partner comes closer so youre forced by game to do team attack without intention to do so.
I thought it would be more fun to have them but i see they disrupt gameplay too much if implemented like that.
----
I would like to see one player on top of another so one of them is controlling movement and fight enemies from right side and second one(the one on top) fights with enemies who come from left side.

I'm actually working on this, but I haven't quite got it going yet. One of my characters is a Centaur. The idea is another character hops on and rides her facing backward. Then they can cover her back while she moves and fights normally. It's tough to deal with all the situations that may arise though, because she retains her full move set. I might just have to limit her a bit while carrying a rider.

[/derail]

I've yet to really play this through being at work and all, but so far I'm very impressed. It seems more based on SOR3, even with options all set to SOR2 style, and I liked SOR2 much better. Still, it is a fantastic so far and I can't wait to see what else is hidden inside.

Well I played and beat it, it's pretty good. Lots of alt paths, pretty stages (rooftop stage is my fav). Just wish the characters had some more moves or were a bit more beefed up. Leveled them up to 3 stars. Some enemies can gang up on you and be pretty cheap.

I see there are 9 hidden charas I wonder who they are? Looks like Ash, Roo, Shiva (prolly 2 versions), Mr x..... and I can't tell who the rest are? Who is the guy with the pony tail?

Urg need a break now, played it to much, don't like the fact that  you have to beat it like 10 times to unlock just a few things meh. Still well worth the download.

Play Crime Busters latest version, Nightslashers X, 8man and Return of Double Dragon.
