Hi everyone! Thought i show all an update of a Demo video of the Hokuto no ken A.K.A Fist of the NorthStar!!
This time,The graphics and positions of characters are sharp and accurate,thanX to the Awesome skills of the Mighty 'Bloodbane'! The game is about 10% redoneand still in W.I.P.
I will post a demo soon once ive implemented more stages and characters with awesome Bloodshed!!
Characters that are in w.i.p=are Shuu,Zeedo,General Barcom at the moment!!and a few villans..
As for this gameplay well dont mind me i was recording on my fist try so hope you all like this video and see you at the next UPDATE!!
Big thx to the Mighty 'Bloodbane for his Hard work and accepting Helping with this mod and NickyP for supplying the hnk stage..and everyone else for there advice!!

If this one could be complete ,perhaps,it's going to be the 1st hi-res MOD.

 Well I hope I don't disappoint you cause I never watched Hokuto No Ken before.

 Anyways, it's time for update, to add regular enemies, I brought this mini guy:



 He's small so players must use low attacks to hit him.



 Don't worry, he won't have many HP because of this.

 Mamiya's has been made. I think I should add more moves to her but at least she's available:



 She can shoot both on ground and in mid air:

 Actually, I have brought Rei too but he doesn't have special moves yet.

i have to largen the height a little but pink ill try again.

 Here's the pink color table, it only consists of one color (RGB = 255 0 255).
 I use this color table to force pink color as the 1st color in palette.

Looks nice bur fontssss... they should be changed ,Its  not that hard

 I know, it was only temporary and quick work. I don't plan to use these fonts forever.

Hey Bloodbane,thx for the heads up on palettes adjustments.Finally got the pink to not show. but when i edit in levels txt to implement frontpanel to a front image, the image appears with pink background thus blocking the gameplay...
Anyhow here a few shots of an update title screen and stage i edits and still improving..
Backgrounds seems a little chopy but making good progress on smoothing that down...

There will be different enemies once the mod done with multiples of thugs on screen,for now enjoy until our demo around the corner.

this is the image im having trouble with,im using GIMP with all my projects and i cant seem to implement the frontpanel right in the level txt. for it to properly eliminate the pink in the frontpanel to see whats going on in the gameplay...
Any idea?

When you go on GIMP make sure the pink color is the first color in the palette, sometimes it can be hard to tell, like if there are more then one set of pink colors in the palette sometimes you can set the wrong one. On the drawing tools section of GIMP, the toolbar that shows up on the left of GIMP, there should be a color chooser. When you check your pallete, touch that chooser onto the pink color and look at your palette to see if that's the color selected and make sure it's first. Good job so far by the way. If you need anymore help let me know because I use GIMP alll the time.

Like what imaninja said, BALDOGON. You need to the pink color to the first place (top-left corner) of the color table.

You can widen your frontpanel pic to match your own resolution. It needs/has to match it in order to fit it in.

I don't know if th has already been pointed out, but the background somehow doesn't quite feel right.... I think it's color hue...

having said that, as long as at some point Iget hear Kenshiro say "you are already dead", I'll be happy.
