Have you try this (go to the levels.txt/levels2.txt):

lbarsize {w} {h} {noborder}

~Controls the size of lifebars.
~This applies to players, enemies, items, etc. They will all have the same width, height, etc.
~{w} is the maximum amount of health the bar can display on a single line. If an entity's health goes over this value, the life bar will wrap around and 'double up' on top of itself. Defaults to 100.
~ 1 unit of health is 1 pixel long.
~{h} is the height of the lifebar in pixels. Defaults to 5.
~{noborder} turns on or off the border and shadow around life bars. {0} means there is, {1} means no outline or shadow.

Also mpbarsize work in same way

That's not even close to the options on lbarsize anymore. The manual is out of date and always will be due to development, that's why this feature archive exists.

lbarsize {x - 100} {y - 5} {border - 0} {type - 0} {orientation - 0} {Border layer - 0} {shadow layer - 0} {graph layer - 0} {backfill layer - 0}

X - Maximum horizontal size.
Y - Maximum vertical size.
border - 1 = no border.
type - 0 = Pixel per point fill with rollover as in previous releases. 1 = % based fill.
orientation - 0 = Horizontal fill. 1 = Vertical fill.
borderlayer - Layer adjustment of outer border.
shadowlayer - Layer adjustment of border shadow.
graph layer - Layer adjustment of graph fill.
backfill layer - Layer adjustment of graph background.

mpbarsize (Magic bar, same options)

olbarsize (Opponent's life bar, same options and defaults to be identical to lbarsettings if not used)

I have "lbarsize 270    7  " in levels.txt and lifebar is still 100 pixels long.In new build downloaded 2 minutes ago and deleted saves.
Also if i want to move enemy or player behind other one during attack eg.throw then only way is to use movez command ?It is setlayer feature but only in headers , any chance for it being per frame ?

Never Mind......   i get it....   lbarsize is global for players and enemies.  if olbarsize is used then its for enemies/opponents.  Am i right?

Well then its something you are going to have to put up with.  As we move forward and strive for stability and new features.   ;)


Being a modder also means being a tester.  Each go hand-in-hand if you want us to continue to add new and better things to openbor.

I can't give you features like widescreen/faster pak loading/perhaps stereo sound if you don't support us properly.


I need to start drawing a line on the sand........   No effense to you....   but i am fed up with people not wanting to upgrade and help us developers in the effort of stability!  In the end these enhancements that caused the stability issues were done not only for us developers but to also open up the engine to you modders.

Im using spawnframe to spawn dust effect in animation but it not disappear after playing once , and when i use summonframe then it just cuts animation of dust when i use unsummonframe,maybe one more option to wait for animation of spawn entity and then delete it ? Or other simple way to spawn dust , but to not waste knives or weapons for this little effect.

Correct. I don't use it myself, but a lot of people had asked for such a feature, so I added it while coding the other lifebar stuff.

Bwwd, I can't reproduce your bug. I used the settings you listed and get the legth of lifebar specified, well over 100. Can you please post your levels.txt file?
