All community members are encouraged to use Lavalit?s download portal to host their modules and projects. Once uploaded, the file is automatically submitted for approval by an Administrator (this is to stop upload and spam bots). Most files will be approved within an hour of uploading. Upon approval, the file will be available for all members in our download portal. Filesize may be up to 500mb.

Lavalit has no internal exclusivity policy for hosting. That is to say, hosting at Lavalit does not mean you can?t host elsewhere too. Creators are free to post links or threads on Lavalit that direct users to the external host.

Lavalit DOES have an external exclusivity policy. This is when a creator wishes to host an OpenBOR project elsewhere without allowing Lavalit to host it as well. In this case no advertisements, links, or any other directives to the external host will be allowed on Lavalit. These include signatures, profile information, preexisting links, and so on.

Note in all cases if the OpenBOR engine is included with a distribution, the license and readme files crediting Senile Team and the OpenBOR development team must be included as well. The OpenBOR engine is NOT a ?warez?. It is a fully legal open source application protected by United States copyright law. This is in turn reciprocated by nearly every developed nation in the world. Violation of the license will immediately result in blocking from all available OpenBOR resources and may lead to prosecution against the offending party.
