It may be easier to create an android port. Not sure what scripting sybian uses, but android uses a form of java over linux. hopefully there will be an openbor app in the future tho

Android's NDK build system for C/C++ applications is a PITA to use.  Also, last time I checked (a couple of months ago), both of the available SDL ports to Android (pelya's and the GSoC port) were unfinished and in alpha.

I do hope this will come very soon.
Anroid's market is wide.

Well, guess who got an Android smartphone this week? :-X

Who knows, maybe I'll get tired of not having OpenBOR on my phone and port it myself.  No promises though. :)

That's a good piece of news.
I think there're a lot of android phone users here.

There's also a working PS1, GBA, SNES and NES emulator. I've had my Moto Droid for almost a year now, and its quite awesome. Might get the Moto Xoom too.

I was actually thinking of how i could port a version of OpenBOR to android, but if Plombo is gonna do it, then it will probably end up far better than anything i could do.

So i got the samsung galaxy s and i was wondering what openbor version would most likely run on it, maybe with dualboot to linux ? But which version of linux i dont know.
n64 emu works very nice and 720p videos, it has video out and can connect bluetooth controllers to play.

If you're booting Linux on your phone, probably best to use any OpenBOR v3.0 version from the last 20 months or so.  But it would have to be compiled for ARM Linux instead of x86 Linux.

Probably easier to just port it to Android, although I don't have time anymore to do it myself.
