Mac problems with X-Men and Night Slashers X

I've been lurking around the site for a few days trying to find out whats wrong with my set up with no luck, so I thought I would try just asking.

Night Slasher X quits without warning after the demon and the hunchback take off in their coach.

In X-Men, after I beat Blackheart and the credits roll, the game crashes to desktop without saving my score. I wouldn't care usually but i think beating the game is the only way to unlock new characters.

I'm using OSX 10.5.8 and OpenBOR V3.0 3673. The X-Men and Night Slasher X are whatever versions are in the download section.

I'm completely new at this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

should work fine with the original version the games were packed with your OS might be the problem have you tried to run in a virtualbox with windows OS ?

OK. I tried playing both games on windows xp in boot camp and i also tried x-men on my psp phat. Same thing happens. I'm going downloading both games again and see if that fixes it.

Yeah, exact same thing happens with me on Night Slashers X:  the game just quits to desktop after the wagon takes off and tries loading the next scene.  I'm running Windows XP and trying to find another source or version of the NS X pak file to download somewhere else.

Anybody at all know of a fix?

Same problem here unfortunately there hasn't been a response since the 29th of March.  So I'll probably add this comment on the download page so we will have a better chance of response from someone who knows what they're doing.

I probably figured the best bet would be to run it on a older version of openBOR but seeing how many updates are in the history I have no idea where to begin.  I need someone who successfully playing the game without problems to let me know what version they're using.
