every time i start a level the ram used goes up by roughly 1MB i had this issue before and i think it was called a ram leak

in my wargems its happend too

on main screen game uses aroound 100 mb, at first stage 110, and when reach the last stage the game is around 130 mb used...

i really sont know why my game eats so much memory :(

This was discussed before I think.

There are several possibilities. For example, if you are using some script to load resouces and forgot to free them, this can be checked after you closed the game, by looking for related warning messages. Or it could be a false alarm because on windows the engine just called OS APIs to check ram usage and it is not accurate at all.

More likely, after each level, some new characters which use 'know' command in models.txt are loaded.

The reason i am concerned i would like my mod to be compatible with psp fat but it only has 25mb and my mod is already running at 24mb with one enemy !

I will have to read up on how to free up resources utunnels do you have any tips ?

I found a bug yesterday that script loaded sprites could not be freed correctly. It was fixed in 3703.

Not sure if that was the very reason.

nope used ram still increases every time i end the game and start again but its less then before.

And this happens on mods without any scripts too like my MKOA mod.Every 5 or 6 levels the my psp runs out of memory and when i start again the openbor engine and load the game then i can continue again for 5 or 6 levels and so on.
