Golden Axe: The Curse Of Death Adder final demo (hacked)

Well, I think many ones know this demo, it is abandoned by the author FunkMeister Smith for a long time.
I first played it when borgen was still running(i can't remember how many demos he has released, but I'm sure I played more than one).

The final demo is the mod I used to test when I was implementing my script engine(about 1 years ago), that time I lost my WIP mod so I had to find a replacement, so there are still some script files inside it, most of them are useless now.

Since the demo will crash on new openbor(some command errors) so I give it a fix, now it should run with no problem(except bugs).

There's some slight changes I made to it, include some bbox fix, sprite mistake fix, but most animations of enemies are not changed so it stays what it should be.

Some new commands are used, like gfxshadow, nopassiveblock, aimove, and @script, so you need a new engine to play it.

About the main and only character Stern, I simplified his moves, now he doesn't have any freespeicals, but various combos. Downward thrust now will really thrust into the ground(script trick), and dash attack use jumpframe instead of move command. I cut the magic cost down to 10, so you can do 3 smartbomb intead of one.

Hi there!

Been a looonnngg time since I had a look at anything BOR related, then I stumbled accross this!

Sounds like some good alterations you've made there! Admittedly when I made this mod I done alot of "cheats" because I was working from a very very old version of Open Bor, so thats why it'll be all buggy etc. And I could never get the damn magic thing to work either!! Anyway, unfortunately, as previously mentioned, I cant seem to get it to run? I'm using the latest Windows build downloaded from this site but it just exits after the "loading" screen. No error messages etc unfortunately just exits. Any ideas?

 Well, look inside LOGS folder and read logs there. Post the error message here so we can figure out what's wrong. If you don't know what to quote, you can attach the log file here.

I think you need to add a "zlib1.dll" file to the main directory under windows.

Thats what mine and several others were doing right off the download.
I just dropped it in and presto, works fine.

Its been added to when we release a version now.  Funny thing is that I must have another zlib1.dll in my system and thats it runs.  Thinking only libpng13.dll was only needed for releases.  So for now on, it will be added to the releases going forward.
