finally ready the new chapter of Fatal Fury Re-Bout:
Fatal Fury Re-Bout 2.
The game is Based on second Fatal Fury episode and Fatal Fury Special.

Feature:

-MP Bar(Power Gauge)
-3 Modes: Story,Special and Survival.
-5 characters,including 2 New Characters: Mai Shiranui and Kim Kaphwan.
-3 secret Characters.
-14 Stage and 14 bosses for all Modes.
-4 moves for characters*,including Hyper moves!
-Color Set Mode.
-4 players.
-Taunt Move**
-New special moves for enemy's and bosses.

*Command List:

Well, I played it for a while (up to the 6th level) and I think 'average' pretty much sums this mod up.  There's no huge issues, just a few offsets that are off and stuff, and everything is competently put together but nothing that really sets it apart from other mods.  The level design never goes beyond the standard 'go right, kill enemies, repeat' fare.  The bosses have a few interesting moves, but are otherwise the same as any other beat em up enemies.

Graphics and sound are well done for the most part.  The cutscenes, while dithery at times, are pretty nice and characters look pretty good, though the walking animations for the players look a little off.  The music is fine except for a few tracks that have about 5-10 seconds of silence at the end and thus take a little while to repeat.

Overall, this is a decent enough mod but as I've said before, beat em ups are repetitive by nature and need a lot of polish to really capture the player's attention.

Agreed. All games are repetitive by nature although some developers reduce the feel be adding mini games.
 For this genre, you can look at SoR2 or Battle Circuit. I hardly get the repetitive feel in those games.
 In SoR2, regular enemies like Garcia and Donovan don't have many HP making killing them quick. Also there are subboss fight at the end of every level giving refreshment.

Yeah, mini games or vehicle sections are a great addition as long as they're polished and fun, like in Battletoads & Double Dragon.  But the rest of the levels still need to be unique, too.

Honestly there are a lot of ways to handle that problem. You could have unique situations/enemies each level or even a totally different game style to 'break up' the action- like the mini games Orochi_X won't talk about, lol. It's all about imagining different scenarios/ideas. I'm just so numb to the average OpenBor beat 'em up now. Blah. Give me something exciting & different!!!
