You basically punch through them. Just attack the frames themselves.

I have laptop now so i can see now how many enemies in mod had bad colours on them , its big difference between analog monitor and this one.

It's great to see you active in any case. Can't wait to see what you can do with the new tools and scripting.

Yeah but even when i puch through them I get stuck on that first Frame, the Chacters can't move towards the next frame.

He has a point.. on the cdi version in downloads you cannot advance past the first frame in comix mode even after you punch it open...

also in revenge mode the game freezes up in 3rd stage sometimes..

on my psp it works fine but on dreamcast it has problems.

@jttaz76 - Please download the Dreamcast version from DCEvolution.net via this link:

http://www.dcevolution.net/goto.php?id=79

The version here at Lavalit will be replaced with a fixed version shortly.

How to mod:
1 Pick an interesting game: There are plenty of 8-bit/16-bit classics waiting for a remake
2 Rip your own sprites & stages
3 Use a custom palette: http://borrevolution.vg-network.com/tutorial.htm
4 Check your offsets: http://lavalit.com:8080/index.php?topic=1099.0

Did you know?
Using void main()
{
playgif("data/my.gif", 0, -4, 1);
}

as spawnscript streams a GIF anim instead of loading it

Since our site is offline because of an attack by hackers in December last year, the link above won't work anymore. Download the game from here:

http://dcevolution.netfirms.com/downloads/bordcevo/BattletoadsDCEvo.rar

Btw, the release has been downloaded 3804 times until DCEvolution's server had been hacked.

Congratulations, bwwd :cheers!:

It's about time we get a 4 player version!! When I was playing the 2 players only version. I had friends that want to join and I said sorry 2 players only then they say that's $^#$^ Dreamcast games like this should always have 3 to 4 player since there were 3 toads & plus 1 extra dude from Comix Zone it should be 4 players so they force me to stop the game & play a 4 player game like Halo 3 & Call of Duty 4.

Now I'll show them that I got a 4 player version thanks to ya!! :cheers!:

Please let me know when tha pak version comes around, I want to practice making changes before I make my own mods...

Not too much has changed since the last release, mostly RAM related changes have been reverted:

Quote
-Changes- [2007/06/15]
* Now using OpenBoR v2.0051 featuring Sprite Database Management
  (deletes duplicated sprites and thus reducing the needed RAM)
* Bub the Zombie is back as a playable character
* All changes to the playable characters have been reverted
* All changes to the enemies' anim pain, spain, grabbed and bpain have been reverted
* Most sound effects are back in full 22khz glory. RAM usage statistics updated accordingly (see below)

* Laser Traps won't kill you instantly anymore

-Multiplayer related changes- [2007/06/15]
* Number of players set to 4
* Position of lifebars have been adjusted
* Players can't hit each other anymore
* Players can't use the same character anymore
* Players don't share credits anymore (should make the game a bit easier)

...well, and I made a new menu for the game mode selection and threw in the Battletoads demo too :)

Yo DCEvoCE, may I have the pak version of this upgraded Battletoads?

Thanks , now i think its too long and i spent too much time with ,it was complete 2 months before release but i couldnt figure out some storylines and delayed release , arcade version of BattleToads dont have storyline at all .But well im glad its behind me now.How many stages it have 70 something.. i dont remember , In Marvel i think ill make maximum half of it.
