folh is a good mod and there aren't much  problems in the mod.if you want really adjustments,if i were you,i will add a new black color on wolverine.you can also add heroes from hokuto no ken universe(ken playable and raoh playable and secret boss).if only suggestions,because your game is very good. ;)

I've been on the fence about trying to do an extra mode for the game since... well, I haven't gotten much feedback.  And this includes posting it a few other places where people might be interested.  To be honest, most of the feedback is from people listed in the Special Thanks since they helped test it.

It's a good mod but I can't feel there is something missing, I only liked playing as two charas, wolvie and Jax(Jax feels almost complete) but wolvie is kinda lacking imo.

Juggles are nice but I can't help but feel the characters need a few more moves to make it more interesting. A lot of them have a command move which uses no meter and then a special move which is almost exactly the same but it uses meter? I really don't like Wolvies meter move, just doesn't seem right, kinda boring.

I also don't see the point of having a mp bar but then your specials drain your life, meh.

All that said I did like the story(even tho it is a bit kooky) and every thing looks pretty good except for hit sparks, because you are using a mish/mash of sprites, you should rather have used the third strike hit spark bubble effects, it blends rather nicely imo, the hit sparks you're using look like KOF hit sparks? Not really suited to this type of game imo.

Good job man but I can't help but feel you might need to do a bit more work on it.
Play Crime Busters latest version, Nightslashers X, 8man and Return of Double Dragon.

Been meaning to update this but I keep putting it off.  I'm probably not going to do a lot more with FOLH but there will be at least one update since there's a few major bugs that need fixing and I wanted to have a side mode of some form.

 True, cause that's where the game is :). Most of my work for Contra mod is for level and enemy design. Character takes extra work too but it's not much compared to that.

While I'm not as advanced in script as most members, with characters I tend to be able to roughly eye a lot of things and do all work in Notepad.  With levels, I tend to be forced to pull out a calculator and I always use one of the custom editors if I'm doing any form of wall or hole.  A lot of what I've been doing recently is fixing wait and group structure--something I felt hurt FOLH far more than how much the graphics clashed.  I'm glad that it's going smoothly but it's somewhat embarrassing.  Plus, I feel that a lot of mods don't use the tools for building 3 dimensions as well as they can.

 Oh player is defending a machine instead of castle! Interesting, reminds me that there are other machines as well such as main computer in WildCATS, machine in PeaceKeepers and Elevator machine in Aliens vs Predator.

 I believe there is some notice or something for players so they know that they have to protect a machine right?

Each challenge will have a short text cutscene to let players know what the objective is.  Trying to balance this out a bit so it's not too hard but still a challenge.
