The knife's z attack range(or we say grabdistance) is really good, sigh, and my special attack can't hit that whip. I can't use dodge move because there's a hole.

It seems block goes correctly in current build, and you enemies are really good at blocking, they block everyting, even Max's D U A special. lol
Look at the second picture, it looks just like Max is smashing a table onto his face.

 ;D Funny, I've just figured out couple weeks ago that grabdistance can be used to alter z width. IOW I haven't used it for knives yet.
 I think it's more because Jean stands in correct spot for throwing knives :).

That's the trial, every hero can dodge there without using dodge that is.

BTW utunnels, I was wrong before. You're right about jumpattack3, I thought it's jumpspecial or special3.

 I begin to think if I should start another vote but seems like ppl still vote for vote above. Let's see if anybody wants to vote for these:

A. Which path do you like most?
1. Main path (Accessed by succeeding Truck Chase)
2. Alternate path (Accessed by failing Truck Chase)

B. Which regular enemy you hate most?
 I list them in their groups but you can choose one if you want. Well feel free to vote more if you like.

 :wow!:

 That's the most bizzare request I ever heard! I've never such request for other mods before.
 Anyways, I'm sorry. I can't read Japanese let alone making translation of this mod (or anything in fact).

Welcome to LavaLit, fairy train :)

Regarding a Japanese translation of Crime Buster: No one here speaks Japanese; we all come from different parts of the world and most of us use English for our game's stories.

How to mod:
1 Pick an interesting game: There are plenty of 8-bit/16-bit classics waiting for a remake
2 Rip your own sprites & stages
3 Use a custom palette: http://borrevolution.vg-network.com/tutorial.htm
4 Check your offsets: http://lavalit.com:8080/index.php?topic=1099.0

Did you know?
Using void main()
{
playgif("data/my.gif", 0, -4, 1);
}

as spawnscript streams a GIF anim instead of loading it

Being I'm all late on the  community scene, and I can't dload like I want to, I have to post when I can on the mods I've tried out. BloodBane this is an excellent mod. Honestly its not as hard as people made it to be. I didn't have much problem destroying enemies once I got used to it.  This is one of my most fav. mods, and is hard to top.

This is staying on my psp as long as I have it.  ;D Hard works pays off and it shows.  I know editing takes time and you have a bit of original of edited chars and I love their looks. A strange thing happens on the psp version, yea I know its not made for widescreen, but on the bridge stage with holes all on it. you happen to able to walk over holes, and fall in some invisible ones  :laughing:.  It made me wonder are you considering on making it widescreen compatible?

Overall this mod rocks, and I can't wait to see your next project. Keep up the good work.  :cheers!:

 Huh? Oh I think I know why. Bridge levels are direction left which means the sprite for holes are defined from right side. HOWEVER holes are defined from left side. In widescreen mode, the screen widens and it either makes holes too far to the left, hole sprites too far to right or both are moved. That's why.

Emm... maybe not, cutscene works is quite tiresome. Not to mention I would set different setting for wider screen.

 It is not hard. I said it's challenging instead.
 Sometimes I wonder if 6 credits is too much.

The holes are all illusion, lol

I remember a super mario game acts like this, what you see are in fact one screen away from your position.

Lol Utunnels.  I started off with 4 credits on bridge stage and left with zero the first time on the psp.  :-[ I'd just be walking down the street and just fall in some invisible pit, yet the enemies would just walk over visible parts of a pit.  :laughing:

Yeah... your better of using scale versus widescreen mode when dealing with holes and such.
