Pause time during animation.
Is there a way to pause the time during an animation till it ends? For example, letīs say that your character do a special move and that requires a number of frames till the attack comes, so the game pauses (enemies, traps...) till the animation is finished.

I post this here because donīt want to create another thread just for a simple question, if there is a problem just tell and i move it, thanks.

It's possible.  It requires script though, and I'm feeling too braindead right now to go into any detail about how it would be done.  Sorry.

Do not worry, even if you try i would not understand a word. I think i need a long reading before can understand how scripts work.
I thought this would be like cut here, paste there, edit here, edit there... then tried, and i was like wtf is this, wtf is that!... I prefer first to work with simple commands to gain experience with the engine.

By the way, i was trying to set a counter to a character, but the counter animation have more than one frame, so is posible to put counterframes instead counterframe?

 Not without script though.
With script, you need 2 scripts: one in player's animation and in takedamagescript. 1st the latter detects if attack is received during counter frames. If there is, a local variable is set. Then the 2nd script in the animation changes animation if that local variable is set.

No. There's no such feature not to mention you'd need to specify how long the button must be held before it is accepted.

Script is the only way for this.

Sorry, maybe i donīt explain myself well before, is difficult to do in your non-native language, thought. What i was trying to say is as long as the button is pressed without matter how long it is pressed. While holding block button not hold block button during x time.

Oh I was reading in glance, I thought you are talking about move like hold back for 2 seconds, F+A.

Nonetheless, what you requested is not available... directly. The other way to do it is by setting cancel in BLOCK animation.

Thanks for the answer Bloodbane. :)

Another thing I'm trying to figure out, is how to add transparency into a frame, I have seen it in other games like Art of Fighting Beats of Rage Remix when the player does his special leaves a shadow behind him that have transparency on it. When i try to apply the palette to a frame with transparency it seems like the background color mixes whith the transparency doing a mess with the color.
So, is there a trick or something to do that?

 Sounds like wrong alpha settings.

Anyways, drawmethod has a parameter which controls alpha transparency per frame. You can try this command.

Sorry, my mistake, i was applying the wrong palette. On the other hand i didn't know that you can change all those parameters in a frame, it will be usefull for escalate some effects.

Thatīs the effect i was looking for !!! The good thing about it is that you donīt need to do the artistic work, it does all by itself,  really usefull.

Iīm having some problems with proyectiles, tried with shootframe but the proyectile appears on top of the character. And tried also with shootframe but launch it from the base.
So, is there any comand that let you modify the y (axis) position where the proyectile is thrown?
