Some bugs

It was working ok, but then the only thing I did was to change the logo.gif and now that error popup appears, and cannot try openbor.

Windows XP, Build 3709. Fullscreen mode.

the log files show this:

Input init................... No Joystick(s) Found!
Done!


use cached bg

and the error message is attached.

pd: just tried with Build 3711, same error.

 That error sound like it's related with weapons. I don't know the exact cause but my best guess is that the mod is trying to 'play' a weapon model which is not LOADed yet or just simply unavailable.

You haven't saved logo.gif correctly or the file is corrupted.

as Beastie said, it was related to logo. I had on "bgs" folder a logo.gif AND a logo.png. I removed the logo.png and the error stopped.

I have another bugs:
- From old Builds, my mod ALWAYS freeze when displaying the "game over" screen, and I need to do the ctrl+alt+supr stuff. as I play on a window, to exit I press the "x" to close the window, but I don't know the reason of this error. This happen will old Builds and new builds on the same way.

- with Build 3711 some scripts doesn't work, even "com a3"which is only a freespecial without script doesn't work. I didn't try 3710 so I'm keeping 3709 as my main Build.

You probably just forgot to save the .PNG as indexed mode. 

- Perhaps the gameover thing might be a similar image file problem.

- I'm also using Build 3709 because of a problem of scripts not working anymore

to save as indexed?? I don't know about that...

That means that my gameover problem is related to some gif file? I don't havr to many .pngs
and how can I save as indexed? I only use paint but can get Gimp to work (but after using I need to reboot lol)

I don't know how to create new palette files in GIMP, so I only know how to do it in Irfanview.

Image -> Mode - > Indexed...

ohh was that simple... I have mine on japanese so maybe that's why I overlooked the function. Anyways now I'll try, but it will be a long journey doing that to every file...
