makepkg utilities

I've just created the makedeb utility for Linux.  makerpm is coming soon.

  • What do they do?
    makedeb.sh creates a .deb package for easy installation under Debian and Ubuntu-based distributions.
    mikerpm.sh (not finished yet) creates a .rpm package for easy installation under RPM distributions - Red Hat, Fedora, Mandriva, SUSE, etc.
  • Where can I get them?
    It can be found in the tools/makepkg folder of OpenBOR's Subversion repository.

You'll need to compile OpenBOR ("./build.sh 4" in the root directory of your SVN working copy) before using makedeb or makerpm.
