Hello Everyone I am new in this of Openbor I loved the idea to create my own game and my favorite street fight Son Que.
I'm a fan of the Double Dragon series of ESO to draw on that game.
A Gabo Hanso let me thank for having learned much from the games already made if the page spectacular All Lavalit For this opportunity.
Good at this game you will find many combinations and techniques which I invented, because that soy professor of Kung Fu and inclusive in the second level of game Sale The Name of my school "CH'UANG ODP" (Fist of the leopard).

how do I upload the game to lavalit?
try where it says file upload, but nothing happens. can someone please tell me I have to make my game look in lavalit?
Edit: The mod plays on Wii, which is cool since I wasnt expecting it to play with how large it is, and the Wiis memory resources.
Finaly i find out that,from 400MB what the mod is,the 360MB is the music files.
He is using music files 15MB-20MB.

That is because music files are in 44100KHz, in stereo and 16 bit so it must occupy both

hola a todos ya termine mi mod del double dragon 3 "The Dragon Stone" . El unico problema es que tiene una capacidad de 555 MB debido a que la musica esta en 2 canales stereo y a 44100 KHz . Me recomendaron un programa para poder volver a transformar de BOR a WAV nuevamente pero no lo transforma , solo reproduce la musica en el WINAMP . Alguien me podria poner detalladamente que es lo que tengo que hacer para transformar de BOR a WAV , por que sino tendre que subir mi mod con esa cantidad de megas . Espero sus respuestas y muchas gracias a todos un abrazo. :praying: :big_happy:
hi all my mod finished and double dragon 3 "The Dragon Stone." The only problem is that it has a capacity of 555 MB because the music is in 2 channel stereo and 44100 kHz. I recommend a program to reprocess BOR to WAV again but does not transform, only playing music in Winamp. First, the ladder itself will need to be an obstacle type. Next you need to identify it as a ladder. I use obstacles for lots of things and find that using the Throwdamage property is a great way to identify them. In other words, if Throwdamage = X then it's a ladder.
Next thing is to add some checks into the entity's onblockoscript. You'll want to find out if the entity is lined up close to the ladder and all that. Easy enough using some range checks. If so, and the player is holding UP/DOWN, you set the climb animation and velocity.
I don't know if it's not that hard. I thought ladder require array or matrix to define it, remember 2nd stage of Double Dragon?, there's wide ladder there in the back.

I would like to ask you a question, I have lost many programs to capture the game and then upload it to youtube and all feel the same, the video goes perfect but no sound, probe and touching everything and nothing happens as usual.

Perdon si en algun momento se sintieron ofendidos por tomar su mod como base , mi intencion solo era de aprender a programar mi juegoahh no debes preocuparte por eso, no creo que a ellos les importe, y despu?s de todo, todos aprendemos a hacer mods alterando uno ya existente.
The Dreamcast didnt have enough ram to handle any OpenBor 3 mod. Thats why the training board is bad. its fine if ur tripping :). Though i cant play the adventure mode through to the end , i will enjoy myself plenty with the level select. Either way,an awesome mod.The best so far right next to DD Gaiden and in many ways even better and i honestly thought it couldnt get better. I feel like im 12 again, skippin school to hit the arcade and cashing in grand ma ma's $2 bills to play some Double Dragon :-X
I just renamed the pac file to bor. Added the 1st read bin and the ib pin. Burned it in bootdreams using cd record, change disc format to data/data and burn speed 2. those are the setting to burn pac files. not cdi files. Good Luck! :cheers!:

The error is because it does not take into account that my keyboard is in Spanish, what surprises me is that when I played the game by me as well.
Could this happen with the pak-file as well or only with a data-folder? And are there more filenames with special characters?i think its NOT a problem if you use windows, and the data is unpacked. as soon as you use a PAK, or another operating system, it won't work, because the character is encoded in a windows-specific way. i will change the borpak utility so it will stop when someone tries to add a file with special characters.
Btw anallyst, why don't you upload "your" version to lavalit in the category "Mods > Completed mods > Variants /Hacks" calling it "New Double Dragon 3: The Dragon Stone (downsampled music)" or something like that for users with lower bandwith if that's ok with you, alemasper?i have slow bandwidth but i will upload it if its ok for alemasper

btw, after re-encoding the music from your game with OGG,mono,48kbit (you could use the windows program foobar2000 to do it) it has only 100MB, and it doesnt sound bad at all.

Good work, but could you consider calling it New Double Dragon as well? Since the original Double Dragon 3 aka Double Dragon Revolution 3 is anothert game...hmm... didnt know that, i labeled it "Double Dragon 3 "The Dragon Stone"". lets find out if it can be changed...

let's find out why "bolsaa" is not loaded correctly.alemasper, when i change the "coords" of bolsaa, it loads fine. maybe the version you used had a bug and didn't calculate coordinates correct ?
If I remember correctly , all entities had a fixed offscreenkill value of 1000. When the new screen sizes were added , this caused problems (entities could be killed by walking slightly offscreen in screen widths such as 800 or 960 etc).
We also found that the original code had broken logic.
We need to keep offscreenkill because it removes projectiles and other entities that would otherwise permanently take up "slots" in the spawned model list and would eventually prevent new spawns from occuring.
Offscreenkill {int} is now a model header command. The auther can use it to increase the offsceenkill value.

So I tried the game almasper, it's pretty good, lots of cool moves, great graphics, settings. Love the fatalities, weapons and enemy variety.
The enemies seem bit overly aggressive though, and I really dislike the you take two steps forward I take two steps back AI thing, the enemies also seem a bit too fast. Even with those flaws I still really enjoyed the game but I can't help but think if those things were smoothed out it would be a really great game. Still it's def worth downloading, Thanks very much for this really good game.

The main problem for me is the Z axis on the player attacks, enemies can attack you without being "on the same line", but you can't, you have to allign very well for your attack to connect.
The same happened with Double Dragon Gaiden, I set 20 as z range on the attacks on that mod and was cool.
The anubis were very frustrating for me, but I found some strategies, but still my main problem is with the 1st boss Jim, it took me a lot of lives heh
